In this episode, I interview Jamie Trull of Balance CFO.   Jamie Trull is a Corporate CPA turned Financial Literacy Coach and Profit Strategist. She is passionate about using online courses to teach female business owners how to understand and truly take control of their business finances so that they can pay themselves MORE!  She has grown her Facebook community, Financial Literacy for Women Business Owners to over 28,000 engaged community members in less than a year by providing free valuable content about business finance management to her audience.    We talk about shame for women in business and how to get past it. I also put Jamie in the "hot seat" to encourage her to create a mini course even though she was resistant to it, it is a fun conversation that you can identify with for sure!   

We are so fortunate to have Angie Lee of the highly ranked podcast with over 7 million downloads, The Angie Lee Show on the Avenue Mama podcast today. She is the creator of an amazing all female entrepreneur event that I attended last year, Pays to Be Brave, the Co-Founder of Soul CBD and she is a wildly successful marketing ninja and educator for those in the online space. I first caught wind of Angie through my childhood friend Doug that is a mutual friend of ours. In this podcast episode, I share why asking for help does not make you a bad mom. There is no tombstone that will read "here lies Jane. Jane did all the laundry , planned all the meals, cleaned the house all the time, and took care of all all the meals and that's what made her a good mom." I call B.S. We live in a new era where if we can automate, we should. In this podcast, I sit down with Carly Anderson during her first "Just Wear The Suit" weekend in Temecula California. Carly Anderson is the founder of Lipgloss and Crayons and #justwearthesuit. This former Los Angeles inner city elementary school teacher is married to a professional musician, and recently moved to San Diego from Los Angeles .  Carly believes that hard work pays off, that community is more important that competition, and that women are stronger together. She knows that society tells us that there is one form of beauty, wants to tell her daughter (and yours) that that isn’t the truth. I had the greatest pleasure in my 14 year entrepreneur journey to sit down and interview Gary Vaynerchuk at Vayner Media in Los Angeles where we addressed what is not working in mompreneurship and so much more. Don’t parent your child from your insecurity. Forget about keeping up with your neighbors and mommy friends. Need cash? FLIP. Find items in your garage or in thrift stores and put it on Facebook marketplace. If you are going to create a sales funnel, don’t do it to manipulate people or for false promises.   TAKE ACTION.
