Today’s show opened up without Dustin and Joel going solo. We decided to give Dustin the day off since it was his Birthday this past week. But the show as always goes on!  The show gives people great information about what is out there to help all of our Veterans.   Today we had a wonderful guest in Heidi Janson the Founder & CEO of Brides Across America.  What she is doing to help the service members getting married.  What a noble cause during a stressful but yet wonderful occasion that donates 1500 dresses per year totaling 17,000 dresses donated to date.  Awesome.  Listen to the interview HERE. August 29 – Today we had the wonderful opportunity to meet with David Bouillez from Memory Box Project.  David is making decorative keepsake boxes for our fallen Soldiers.  What a wonderful idea but let’s hope David does not have to make many boxes.  You can listen to the interview HERE.   What is trending on Twitter: Will Smith is gay? T odays show opened up with Joel being solo cause his cohost was out today. We spoke with Veterans Comfort Closet on what they are doing for our veterans today. Listen to that interview HERE! The trending on twitter was The Denver Broncos, former USC Qb, and a update with the final standings of the US Olympics in Rio and the start of the Paralympics. The clearing th air segment touch bases with what is the definition of a leader has Americans lost the meaning.  

Dustin was out today due to his health. Joel opened up the show for the first time with his father, David. We believe David did great, being his first time…you be the judge. We played alot more music today than usual because we have a huge list of unheard bands. Later in the program, we chatted with Final Salute’s Major Jaspen Boothe who is still in the Reserves and is continuing her mission to help other veterans. You can listen to that interview HERE!

Choo! Choo! Today we featured Chrissy Honeywell – President/CEO of Operation Paperback,  Recycled Reading for our Military. Operation Paperback is sending books to our military members.  To include deployed Soldiers, Veterans and military families.  Please listen to the interview HERE. What’s Trending? Charles Barkley new tv show called “The Race Card”,  Satanic groups being offered in schools. What did we learn? Prior preparation does not prevent future problems. Today was the start to our new format. What a privilege to have on George Herberger from Rock Our Vets.  Founded by Dave Mason and Ted Knapp in 2015,  They assist Veterans and their families transitioning back into the civilian sector. They provide our Veterans with food, clothing and laptops.  Again, thank you George and you can listen to the interview HERE. You also heard from a few unlicensed bands and what’s trending today.  The Great Wall and Rio Olympic Village.  Our clearing the air segment featured Joel’s disgust with non-profits bait and switch tactics.  Dustin’s clearing the air segment covered the leaked DNC emails. On today’s show we were fortunate to have on Robert Reese the Founder and CEO of Warrior Voices.  Warrior Voices is providing our Veterans the opportunity to learn and train in the voice over community.
