Episode in
The Binge
Clueless is 30 (WE KNOW, frightening) and there was simply no way we weren’t going to mark the occasion. Today’s episode is a brutally honest (and very loving) review of the cult classic that defined a generation.
We’re diving into everything from how the film came to be, the chaotic casting process, and the real-life stories behind the most iconic scenes and one-liners.
We also unpack why the film hits so damn hard, reveal the scenes we still quote weekly, and discuss how we genuinely don’t remember life before seeing Clueless. Because honestly, do you know one person who hasn't watched it? So sit back, strap in and get ready for a 90s nostalgia ride.

A Brutally Honest Review Of Too Much On Netflix
Episode in
The Binge
You asked, we delivered. Ever since Lena Dunham’s new Netflix series Too Much dropped, Spillers have been sliding into our DMs dying to hear what Spill hosts Laura and Em think… and today, we’re going deep.
We unpack how the show draws from Lena’s real life, how it stacks up against Girls, and why it’s not really the rom-com it’s being marketed as. From the scenes we loved to the ones that completely wrecked us (yes, one of us cried), it’s a brutally honest review with zero filter.
Whether you loved it or are still unsure what you just watched, this is the post-watch debrief you didn’t know you needed.

A Brutally Honest Review Of Sirens On Netflix.
Episode in
The Binge
Sirens, starring Meghann Fahy, Milly Alcock, and Julianne Moore, has been one of the most-watched TV shows in Australia for the past week, so now it’s time for a brutally honest (and very emotional) review.
From where the story began, how it was adapted for Netflix, and what the cast really went through bringing this story to life on screen (let's just say the main actress lost some toe nails) we’re here to talk through all the behind the scenes stories that will change the way you see Sirens.
We also need to talk about those glaring plot holes in the series, the unexpected scene that gave us chills, Kevin Bacon's villain story, and then unpack exactly what happened in that surprise finale scene, along with why the show needs to come back for a second season.

Veronica Mars Season 4: The Brutal End That No One Was Expecting
Episode in
The Binge
Every month Mamamia Reviews will dissect the biggest show in the world - and this week is all about Season 4 of Veronica Mars.
Think back to 2004, when Veronica Mars was one of the most popular mystery shows on television. It was created by screenwriter Rob Thomas, a man responsible for the iconic 90s TV show Dawson’s Creek and was set in a fictional town called Neptune, California. Three years later, after ongoing network issues, the show was cancelled after only three seasons and left hardcore “marshmallows” craving more.
Fast forward again to 2019 and thanks to Stan and Hulu, Veronica Mars season 4 has returned. So if you’ve just finished watching Veronica Mars Season 4, join Mamamia’s Entertainment Editor Laura Brodnik and Melody Teh as they talk through what’s good and what was (sad) about the show.

There's Only One Thing Wrong With Fleabag
Episode in
The Binge
Every month Mamamia Reviews will dissect the biggest show in the world - and first up is Phoebe Waller-Bridge's Fleabag.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge is the woman everyone’s talking about right now. Fleabag was adapted from her 2013 one-woman play of the same name. The initial idea of the character of Fleabag came from a challenge by a friend, where Waller-Bridge was given the task of creating a sketch for a 10-minute section in a stand-up storytelling night.
Mamamia’s Entertainment Editor Laura Brodnik is joined by Holly Wainwright to talk through what’s good (and yes) what’s bad about this show.
From the hot priest to that miscarriage scene to why no one has actual names apart from Claire. If you’ve just finished watching Fleabag, this is the show for you.
