Let's talk HypnoBirthing!! Maria Gohdes lives in the Madison, WI area and is a certified HypnoBirthing Practitioner and trained doula. Through attending conferences and lectures she continues to add to her education, including gaining knowledge and techniques from HypnoBirthing International, Spinning Babies, and on fertility issues, postpartum care (including breastfeeding) and nutrition.   Olivia became a doula at the age of just 19… We chat about everything from being a young Doula, to a Doula with no kids, to how she took charge of her health after finding out she was diagnosed with some women's health issues - which ultimately kick-started her passion for newborn care. Olivia shares an unforgettable birth story of the first birth she attended - spoiler alert- it was a home birth in Guatemala. She currently serves the families of Jacksonville, Florida, but has long term goals of taking her doula services to serve the women in need in Guatemala so they can be educated and have a completely safe birth environment.
