Immigration is a really vast topic, where plenty of heated debates take place, but there are a few key points in the economics of immigration where experts tend to agree. Immigrants do not *on net* destroy jobs, the effect on wages is far exaggerated, and the burden on taxpayers has more to do with poorly drafted public services.
