This week on the Collectors Galaxy the guys discuss John Williams having his 85th birthday, winning yet another Grammy, and whether or not he should just go ahead and start scoring episode IX while he’s at it! This week we follow up on some of the questions we got on last week’s Q&A epsisode, and we also introduce a new segment called “spotlight conversation”. In this week’s Collector’s Corner segment we are joined by the curator of the Sithsonian, a privately held Star Wars collection and museum, and a passionate member of the collecting community, Duncan Jenkins. Star Wars Episode VIII finally has an official title! Hear what the Collectors Galaxy Crew thinks about “The Last Jedi” on this week’s show, and also their thoughts on what Hasbro might do for the 40th Anniversary of Star Wars! The hearts of the Star Wars community are heavy this week as we say goodbye to our beloved Princess Leia, aka Carrie Fisher. During what was a very emotional episode, the Collectors Galaxy crew attempts to collect their thoughts, share memories, and honor the person that meant so very much to all of us. We share some listener voicemails, talk about our favorite Princess Leia action figures, and do a full rundown of the original vintage Kenner lineup of Leia figures as well. She will forever be in our hearts, and now she is one with the stars. Rest in peace, princess, and may The Force be with you.
