His position urged him to learn writing offers and bonuses, learning website building, driving traffic to increase sales, and creating his own products. His experience as General Manager at Mercedes-Benz trained him with working on spreadsheets, team-building, strategizing, and branding. Content for Building 7-Figure Businesses Video content is what a massive number of people consume nowadays. Their podcast is their core focus, supported by creating supplemental videos to distribute on social media.  A really good way to educate and inform the perfect audience, and eventually leads them to a conversion process. Strategizing Content: Personally engage often with your community. Utilize conversations you have with experts or business owners by writing notes for future books, courses, videos, podcast series, all based on that interaction. Conduct research and analysis, meaning understand your audience to stay in tune with the conversation. Stay updated on what's happening in the world in regards to your industry. Working With Data Traditionally, they haven't spent a lot on ads, but based on the results from 2019 ($8000 spend, $260,000 return), he's looking to spend more in 2020. SEO is fundamental to good content, and he's employed an expert to help on that. They upload their content natively to each platform and take chunks off the videos to promote each episode. Short videos around 2-4 minutes help give the show exposure and podcast promotion. Platform Dependency Being too dependent on a platform can lead to loss of data. Spread out your content to different channels to cover all bases. Branding As a Strength A strong brand is the number one defense against platforms that may decide to hurt you. We're moving to an era where a personal brand gets more engagement compared to business brands. Working on a personal brand and your business brand can be seen as a collaborative competition. Working In Teams Having someone on the team do research on episodes and the necessary pre-work is a good way to start. An organized system for preparing episodes is important for the team to work efficiently. How To Start Creating Content For Your Business Think about the context and relevance of your content. Decide if the content you want to publish will make the consumer better off afterwards. Will they be able to learn something from watching that episode?
