This story is about the suspicious disappearance of 24 year old Mitrice "Hazel" Lavon Richardson. A 24 year old college graduated from the Los Angeles, California area. Her story is riddle with bad police work, cover ups and metal illness. Welcome back to the 3rd Season of the Egoist Podcast! This season we're delving into true crime and analyzing them astrologically. Todays' story is one that may be familiar to some about the horrific story of Sylvia Likens and her unfortunate crossings with the Baniszewski family. We will tell the story and then look into the charts to see what may have been going on and what planetary energies concur with the people and events in Indianapolis, Indian in 1965. Excerpt from the Show: "If there is one thing that I have learned researching this case is that there is no end to the amount of lies, ignorance and sheer disregard permeating from the community in which Sylvia Likens passed. A community of faithful church going God fearing folks blinded by self indulgence, a festering need for gossip and an utter lack of inquisitiveness, or rather just a healthy sense of curiosity. No one questioned why a grown 36 year old woman would find comfort in the company of neighborhood children and no parent would question the daily activities or even prevent their children from visiting the Baniszewski’s home. Granted 7 children resided there but even amongst the rumors of ill choices and very unchristian like behavior, no one raised a hair of concern for the influence of their own kids. Even when the children would report the happenings at the home, parent ignored it. Actively choosing not to be involved, even taking a subconscious or maybe even conscious attitude of “Not me and mines” and would even let Gertrude watch their own children, patronize her odd job fillings and even support her stance on punishment and lies. "   So it begs the question…a murderer, a torturer, a cruel diabolical, sadistic, piece of shit that loved to abuse children…except why only this one child? EDIT: I realized after I published this that I kept saying Mars squared Saturn in Aquarius after saying sextile, when I meant to keep saying SEXTILE. In this weeks episode we go over the Jupiter and Pluto conjunction which occurs three times this year in the sign of Capricorn.
