Listen in as Kelly talks about the social/emotional needs of our newcomer English learners, specifically those from Central America.  While much of the trauma related information applies to students from many areas, this particular conversation was focused on Central American students.  Joe is the Hispanic Liaison Officer from Annapolis Police Department in Annapolis, MD.   Joe and Kelly worked closely together when she was employed by the school system there to create a community of support around the youth of the area.  Joe shares his experiences and what he wants all teachers to know.
