The Focus

A bit on how to use the bible to pray, and what Jesus said about prayer. There are many times we take praying for granted, and it should actually be the first thing we do not the last.  Here are a few verses that might help when praying!  When people are in bad situtations we can pray Bible verses over them and their situtation, because we know the Word of God is living and active!  Exodus 14:13-14 “And Moses said to the people, ‘Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.’” Psalm 34:19  “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.” Psalm 91:7  “A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.” Nahum 1:7  “The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him.” 2 Corinthians 4:8-9  “We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.”  

So many times we get ourselves be surrouded or associated with the wrong things, people, or events. If you are a Christian that can be even harder to deal with sometimes. So what do you do? How should a Christian handle those situations?

Have you ever had something in your life that seems impossible? Maybe for you it is getting the right job, or the right relationship, or maybe even just finding time to take a vacation. Maybe it is seeing someone you love get saved, or many othe rimpossibilities  that can't begin to make sense to the normal person. Well God can do the Impossible and we are going to take a look at 1 Kings 18  16-40 See what God has done, and can do for you! 

In today's world so many people are into, and enjoy so many things, have experienced so many different events in their lives, and come from so many different backgrounds that it makes it harder to reach out to someone and tell them about the love of Christ. Or does it? In today's socient Christian movies are all over the place.  They have even created networks to stream Christian made and "Christian" branded movies. Is it bad that they have Christian movies showing up in the box office? Is it good? I am going to talk about that, because I have heard  both sides to the story and im Curious to get your feed back on this subject. a few movies that have been big.... The Passion of the Christ  Gods Not Dead (2)  War Room. 

One of the most important things we can do to increase our relationship with Jesus Christ, is to spend time in His Presence, daily! 

Do not  think that just because someone is not living for Jesus that God can't or won't use them in some way, shape or form. He used  did it with Rahab to keep his people safe. How often do we ignore others and say "I can't do anything with this person they are not a Christian"? Joshua 6:24-26 Hebrews 11:31 Joshua 2:6

Do you ever wonder what love is? What is love, baby don't hurt me, baby don't hurt me no more! Well love is more! More than you could ever imagine and more that more, and sometimes less than you think!..Look at your favorite tv show, how does it show love? Does that version of love go along with 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 ? and for an interesting read check out  Proverbs 5:15-19 and for an almost creepy read check out Song of Solomon 4:8-10

A look at why its important to stay in God's presence, how to be in God's presence and what has happened(biblical instances of God's presence having an effect on people); so lets take a look and dive into the waters of Christ.

Kim Davis, of Kentcuky, Took a stand for her right to not marry same sex, homosexual couples. She got thrown in Jail with NO BAIL! There are people walking the streets that have commited crimes that are 5, 10, 15, 100 times worse and they get out..Sevent Day Sulmbers Lead singer, said in a post on Facebook, that he was out of jail and eating Whataburger, selling drugs something like 3 hrs after being in Jail....years ago before Getting saved...They system today is messed up, and If you are a Christian, you have next to NO rights anymore...Her Constitution rights were violated, and The Bible warns of Similar things happening....

Can Jesus use you ? Are you not good enough? well If we look at the life of King David and what he did, I would say, yes...That is exactly what we are doing in this episode of the focus.We find out somthing that may shock most "Christians" and those many people look down on for doing bad or sinning....just tune in and find out what the Bible says about this! After same sex marriage has been made legal, I am finally weighing in on the whole subject. it has been a while since I have done a show. Not knowing what to say or how to say it can make that happen, but now I want to weigh in and let you know my opinion and what the Bible says about this topic.
