Our first story is from a young girl who learns a valuable lesson from her swimming instructor. Our second story is from a young boy who fears his dentist, but struggles to keep his teeth in his mouth. Our final story is from a young boy who wants to impress his friend's father, but doesn't quite manage it.

008 - Doctors
This week, the trilogy is completed. We started with parents horrified to find their child in danger, then we followed up with what happens when the children realise and discover fear. Finally the trilogy concludes when the fear is realised and children must have an enounter with a doctor.
Our first story is about a young boy who had a rather personal injury in the playground, and a particularly unpleasant visit to the doctor. Our second story is from a young boy who had an accident on a slippery surface, and was treated in a rather unorthodox way. Our final story is from a young boy who didn't suffer any trauma, but was very anxious about his upcoming appointment with a doctor.

007 - Fear
Last week, we looked at children in danger, and the fear of their parents. This week the children are more aware of the danger and we get to see how it tests their limits. For one boy it's the danger of a tricycle on a steep hill, for another it's the danger of a car on a very steep mountain edge. Our first story is from a young daredevil who liked to ride down the steep hill on his bicycle, but when his sister wanted to join in, it didn't end well for her. Our second story is about a young boy's family ski trips that were regular occurrences until one particularly traumatic event. This episode features stories from Forrister Jenot and Ben Murphy. The music was composed by Adam Farrington-Williams and Jackson Rogers. The podcast was produced by Ursa Minor Audio.

006 - Danger
This week, children are putting themselves in danger and the parents have to step in to save them before it's too late. As is often the case with children, our stories today are tales from times where children haven't quite grasped the danger they are putting themselves in and their parents are scared of what could happen.
Our first story is from a young boy who is upset and wants to run away from home, but doesn't quite know how to go about it. Our second story is about a young boy, who in playing with his sister, gets himself in a very dangerous situation. Our final story is from a young girl who simply wants to play with her cat, but doesn't quite realise how risky that could be.
This episode features stories from Adrian Lim, Adam Farrington-Williams and Elizabeth Thommers. The music was composed by Adam Farrington-Williams and Jackson Rogers. The podcast was produced by Ursa Minor Audio.

005 - Pets
This week is all about pets. We have three stories of children who formed emotional bonds with pets, only to have the pets taken away from them, in three very different scenarios.
Our first story is about a young boy who loses an old dog, and not long after, the replacement meets a gruesome end. Our second story is about a young boy who worries about losing his cats, but his neighbours antics put things in perspective. Our final story is from a young girl who loves the responsibility of caring for her pet fish, only to have a trip away spell poor fishy's doom.
This episode features stories from Adrian Lim, Adam Farrington-Williams and Anna Chambers. The music was composed by Adam Farrington-Williams and Jackson Rogers. The podcast was produced by Ursa Minor Audio.

004 - Holidays Part Two
Following last weeks stories which remembered childhood holidays as being less than pleasant experiences, this episode is going to flip the coin and look at holidays more fondly.
These are the holidays where children get to be themselves and are free from whatever restrictions or worries they might have at home. These are the holidays where they find their place in the family and look back with a smile.
Our first story is from a young boy who overcomes seasickness to play in the ship's arcade. Our second story comes from a young girl whose childhood holidays always centered on what was ripe and in season, ready to be picked and turned in to something delicious.
This episode features stories from Adrian Lim and Emmy Bilal. The music was composed by Adam Farrington-Williams and Jackson Rogers. The podcast was produced by Ursa Minor Audio.

003 - Holidays
The third episode of The Forgetting Curve is all about holidays. Childhood holidays are less about the escapism and relaxation that defines holidays when we're older, but the adventure of trying new things in a new place is always a rewarding experience.
Our first story is from a young girl's first school holiday from the dreary streets of the big city to the challenges of the Welsh countryside. Our second story is from two young girls whose memories of camping has turned them off tents forever.

002 - Friends
The second episode of The Forgetting Curve is all about friendship. Childhood friends have a unique bond, as children grow up and discover who they are, being able to share that experience with someone creates a memory like no other. Being able to learn from mutual experiences helps teach us valuable lessons for later in life.
Our first story is from a young girl who tries to impress a friend with her imagined linguistic talents. Our second story is about a young boy who grows to realise that he and his friends might not share the same values.
This episode features stories from Anna Chambers and Ben Murphy. The music was composed by Adam Farrington-Williams and Jackson Rogers. The podcast was produced by Ursa Minor Audio.
