The Fraud Prevention Roundtable

Every day, data is tracked and monitored with the intention of learning how fraudsters come up with their plan(s) of attack. Identity information is leveraged to create mule accounts that serve as vessels to transfer funds from established accounts. Payment information is generated using math and put to use alongside social engineering to be manually entered via a phone call. High-ticket services are established at service provider platforms and prorated refunds are issued to people whose identities are unrelated to the initial payment. Countless other methods are slithering their way into the marketplace each and every day, leading to fraud-fighters scratching their hands and asking: "How do they come up with that?" For this Roundtable event, Alexander will discuss with attendees the method development process from his past as it relates to several industries.
