For this week’s episode of the FreQShow we talked to two up-and-coming artists: Johnny Lopez and Livio a.k.a. Flame.   Johnny Lopez - the indie pop musician from Barcelona put out his third single ‚Make Me a Drink‘ on April 22nd. He talks about his artistic journey from classical training towards the upbeat indie-pop that he is currently presenting.   Livio - the rap artist proudly representing Cape Town just released his second single ‚Remember‘ which is about overcoming personal hardships.   As Johnny and Livio are both 2nd year music business students they discuss how streaming platforms and social media change the industry and the way we consume music. Moreover, they talk about what live music means to them, how they plan to enter the live market, and why they say it’s not the right time for them just now. If you are struggling with writer’s block, they give helpful insight on their personal experiences and share hacks on how to revive creative flow.
