Oh My God, I can't believe it! I have a Kaiser Chief on The Full Circle! Founder & drummer of said incredible band as well as frontman for the amazing Everyone Says Hi is the very special guest on The Full Circle! We had a great chat reminiscing about Kaiser Chiefs, including who rated one of their albums 3 out of 10 and why that was so influential for their path after that, the festival which led to one of the band's greatest moments, even if a bit unconventional, and we speak about Everyone Says Hi, their new album Funny Cos It's True due for release on 25th September 2026 and which songs he cannot wait for people to hear. Nick also answers some tough Would You Rather questions, shares a great fun fact never heard before elsewhere and he plays a lyrics quiz where he had to guess which songs were Everyone Says Hi, but the twist is that one of the odd ones out was a song he had written before! And, of course, Nick creates his Full Circle, choosing songs with important meanings related to his childhood in particular! When Arctic Monkeys were first on the scene, everyone knew they were something special. Their first album, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not, is an incredible album, and I can't believe it's 20 years old now! So enjoyable to hear it back again and bring back so many memories. Even though there's one or two songs on there that I'm not fussed about, I explain why it ranks so highly for me, giving a general overview and then going track by track, at the end creating my Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not Full Circle i.e. my 5 favourite songs from the album. Sleep Token's Take Me Back To Eden is a special album and catapulted them into new heights including headlining Download Festival & selling out the o2 Arena 2 nights in the same week. Since then they have had top 10 singles and topped the album charts, but without Take Me Back To Eden, this would likely never have happened. I give a summary of the album along with a track-by-track. I also share my controversial early opinion of them as well as sharing which track was the catalyst for them to get to where they are today. I also create the Take Me Back To Eden Full Circle, revealing my 5 favourite songs in album order, one of those they have never performed live! Hopefully one day Playlist for the songs here: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6j3NWyxLLm4Gq0BsBesf5Q Do you agree with my top 5?  Thank you for checking out the episode and the support as always! An absolute honour to have 2x Alabama State Preaching Champion in 2005 & 2010 and frontman of the religious revelation Oh My God! It's The Church Reverend Michael Alabama Jackson!  Their shows are absolutely incredible and a truly unique experience with their goal being to give their congregation the best time combining rock n roll, music from the soul and some religious aspects hosted by the "morally flexible" Reverend. Head over to ohmygoditsthechurch.com to attend one of the upcoming services either in the summer festival circuit, or their Original Sinners Tour in November 2026! On the show: The Reverend explains the band in a nutshell (not easy!), he also answers some tough Would You Rather questions (including whether to be The Pope or Archbishop of Canterbury) and I asked Rev whether he would forgive Confessions provided by The Full Circle Nation, which is also part of their live shows! Did Rev forgive everyone or is anyone going to Hell?! And of course, Rev creates his Full Circle, ranging from David Bowie to Electric Six! Rock AM Ring was the first festival abroad both Abi & I have ever been too! This has been on our bucket list for years, and it totally delivered!  We explain why we chose Rock AM Ring over Download Festival on this occasion We share our favourite acts over the whole weekend at Rock AM Ring, including one which was very surprising for sure! We spoke about the cons of Rock AM Ring, and could Rock IM Park have been better? And of course, we create our Full Circle, with the songs chosen being 6 of our favourite songs taken from the acts at Rock AM Ring, with myself & Abi choosing one song each from each day. Bloc Party's Silent Alarm is a one of a kind album. From incredible drum beats to bass lines, coupled with the amazing guitar work to Kele's unique vocals, Silent Alarm is absolutely stunning. In all honesty, I wasn't sure what I was going to think of the album when I first heard it, but I'm so glad I did, and Bloc Party are one of my favourite bands of all time. On The Full Circle, I review this album, giving a summary and a track-by-track. I then create my SIlent Alarm Full Circle by choosing the best 5 songs from the album.  Playlist for the songs: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/79ZwfJhXH0iZqHjyCJp87G Also, I made a slight error in the video, but I don't think anyone will notice it, so hopefully I get away with it haha. Dr Matthew Cox aka DJ Coxy is the very special guest on The Full Circle! We went to medical school together, and having both qualified in 2016, this is legitimately the first time since that we have spoken to each other, almost a decade later. On the show, Matt talks about fatherhood, and jugging this with work, and how it compares. He also shares his excitement about starting as a consultant in acute medicine and what the job entails.  He also answers some tough Would You Rather questions takes part in a Buzzfeed quiz where his 2000s Music Opinions apparently reveal what his best personality trait is... did Buzzfeed get it spot on or were they completely off? Try for yourself here: https://www.buzzfeed.com/val3riee/build-a-2000s-playlist-and-well-tell-you-what-you And, of course, Matt creates his Full Circle, choosing some of his favourite songs that you might have heard on some of your favourite TV shows! When Red Hot Chili Peppers album By The Way came out in 2002, it was absolutely adored in the UK! It was their first album (not counting Greatest Hits) of theirs I heard and will always have a special place in my heart for that reason. I reveal which song is, in my humble opinion, their best of all time (and how did it not make their Greatest Hits album which was released a year later?!), and how it ranks compared to their other albums. I also create my By The Way Full Circle which are my five favourite songs on the album.  Link to playlist here: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2MJzd2iFpaqhdLsn71pf89 Let me know your favourite song from By The Way and where it ranks on your  favourite RHCP albums! Toy Parlour are absolutely smashing it right now and have a big future ahead of them! Fresh from touring with Don Broco, to performing at The Great Escape in Brighton, showcasing the most incredible up and coming bands, to recently releasing their new incredible single Love Me, vocalist Ren, guitarist Ben and one of their bassists (yes they have two bassists!!) Travis, are the very special guests on The Full Circle this week! We talk about how the band met and juggling with two bassists, which works incredibly well live and in the studio! They also share some great fun facts about themselves, answer some tough Would You Rather questions, reveal how they got to support Don Broco and plays a lyrics quiz called "Toy Parlour or Toys Out The Pram" (naming quizzes are not my strong point), where they have to guess if the lyrics are their own or another band or song has the word toy in it. They also create their Full Circle, ranging from Biffy Clyro to System of a Down!  Playlist for the songs: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3AQAZEk01o9kez8YxjP1qN Check out Toy Parlour's new song Love Me here: https://open.spotify.com/track/0uQEZ6ADEFM98OOsDplzJc Follow Toy Parlour on social media: https://www.instagram.com/toyparlourband https://www.facebook.com/toyparlourband/ https://www.tiktok.com/@toyparlourband It was a great chat with the Toy Parlour lads, thank you to them for coming on The Full Circle, and thank you for checking it out! Every other week (on average), I will review some of my favourite albums over the years on The Full Circle. And there is no better way to start with Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory. This is an album that I grew up listening to, and is a timeless classic. I give a summary review then track-by-track and create my Hybrid Theory Full Circle which is my 5 favourite songs from them (that one was so tough!) What's your Hybrid Theory Top 5? Business. Just Business. The Meffs' Lily Hopkins is the very special guest on The Full Circle, and an absolute honour to have her on! We cover a whole range of topics including The Meffs upcoming album Business (which is an incredible album!), talking about why it's important to speak up about the societal issues and division that's happening in the UK right now, upcoming album release shows and she answers some tough Would You Rather questions and plays a lyrics quiz called Meffs or Meffsed Up? (Sorry if you groaned) The songs Lily chose for The Full Circle are great, ranging from Rage Against The Machine to The Cranberries! Captain Davidoff AKA David Desai is the very special guest on The Full Circle, making his podcast debut on the show! He is a top guy and it's probably one of the funniest episodes since the show has returned as a podcast, very similar to the radio show days! Captain's cat's cameo was a big highlight, but without doubt, the biggest highlight is our stupidity to do the bird's-eye chili challenge again! We were dumb and young in our early 20s when we did this in 2015, but now we're just dumb doing it again, with the risk of getting a hole in our stomach far greater. Whilst it is a great listen (well terrible for David and I in all honesty), keep an eye out for the video version which might be even better. And of course, Captain creates his Full Circle, ranging from Taylor Swift (long time Captain fans will know this was inevitable) to Red Hot Chili Peppers! Surprise! Wow I certainly did not expect an Enter Shikari album out of the blue like that. So I felt I needed to do a surprise of my own for one of my favourite bands of all time and do an album review! I give a summary of the album in general and then a full track by track after my first listen, including my current favourite. Where does this album rank for you in Enter Shikari's discography? Songwriter and guitarist of incredible band Conquer Divide Kristen Sturgis is the very special guest on The Full Circle! We speak about new music and when the next album is coming out, the challenges of being a female band even to this day (I was shocked in all honesty!), working in Healthcare and differences between the US healthcare system vs the UK, and Kristen also answers some tough Would You Rather questions, and plays a lyrics quiz game titled Conquer Divide or Build & Unite (sorry if you're groaning right now), where Kristen had to work out whether the lyrics were by Conquer Divide or not! Kristen also creates her Conquer Divide Full Circle, choosing 5 must listen songs by Conquer Divide, including their most recent song, The Ocean Between Us, which is so so good! Playlist for the songs: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6HqR9zYIeHjGIeHdskEgU4 (Please note that although the show is clean (some language has been bleeped) and always will be, the songs on the playlist may not always be, and on this occasion, one of the songs in the playlist has a swear as a title) Get some cool Conquer Divide merch on https://conquerdivideofficial.com/ and check them out at Sonic Temple Festival on Sunday 17th May 2026 in Columbus Ohio if you're in the area! The first voice you hear on The Full Circle, Ben Reilly O'Donnell is the very special guest on this week's Full Circle! We were literal roommates at university and have remained close friends since! I cannot believe it has taken so long to get Ben on the show, although I guess Ben is on nearly every episode beforehand haha! On the show, Ben shares a, let's be honest, quite geeky fun fact! We reminisce about our time at uni, our of love of music, including some potential hot takes haha! Ben also chooses some one hit wonders and Buzzfeed tried to guess his age based on his choices! How well did they do? Try for yourself here: https://www.buzzfeed.com/kaylayandoli/one-hit-wonder-age-quiz And, of course, Ben creates his Full Circle, ranging from Rosalía to Fontaines D.C! A founder and former bassist of the incredible band Panic! At The Disco, Brent Wilson is the very special guest on The Full Circle and his story is remarkable! He spoke about his time in Panic as well what happened after his controversial exit, which unfortunately led to imprisonment. Since then, he has turned his life around and is now a certified personal trainer!  The songs he chose for The Full Circle were great, and he starts with a Panic! At The Disco song (no surprises!).
