“Take Up Your Cross” From Death to Life

Don’t be fooled thinking you are trading in for less. Don’t think following Jesus will be a joyless, unfulfilling life. Hard, yes – flesh, world, devil. But eternally rewarding! RESPONSE TIME If you will die to self and live for Christ, it will heal your marriage. It will heal your home. It will heal your soul. It will give you a new sense of joy, peace, contentment, and purpose. Prayer: “I’m letting go of my life, my independence, my stubbornness and pride. I give you Lordship in my life now. Lead me and I will follow no matter what it costs me because I trust you way is better than mine.”

Pastoring with the Heart of the Father - Audio

We are all called to pastor one another - A Pastor that has tasted the love of God's Father heart and therefore: - makes you feel safe in his/her presence. - avoids being judgemental and critical. - sees the one he leads through the prophetic lens of the future. - doesn’t dwell on who you are now, in your failures. - dwells on who you are becoming. He sees you the way God sees you. - By doing this points you toward God’s goal for you and his belief in you becomes your belief in yourself – what you can be with God! He calls you to your destiny. - sees you as a person and not as a patient or a problem. - admits his mistakes and is vulnerable and transparent with those he leads. We tend to think that if we show our weaknesses to those we lead, they will disrespect us and our leadership. In fact, research has shown the opposite to be true. Followers have greater trust for those leaders who have been vulnerable and transparent with them. This does not mean that you should share all your weaknesses with all those you lead, but I have found it to be true that the more transparent I am, the more transparent - is a good listener. To listen is to love and to love is to listen. Listen for much more and how all of us are called to pastor one another.

Radical Praying - Audio

Prayer was not an optional thing for the Early Church – it was the secret to their power. Their reputation was that they “turned the world upside down” wherever they went, and corporate prayer, not just personal prayer, was, and still is, the key to this effect. Listen/watch this message and you will be inspired to more prayer. Romans 1:9 NKJ; 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NKJ; James 5:14-16 Amp

His pastoral ministry served one congregation for over three decades. In 2003 he founded Servant Leadership Network (SLN) to facilitate ministry to pastors and next-generation leaders. His Game Changer seminar features five dynamic messages that inspire believers to receive God’s love and then to love those around them.

Gifts of the Holy Spirit: Healing - Audio

Authority, Forgiveness, and Practical Steps John introduces the sermon and shares a powerful story that he experienced this week. John and Mark emphasize the goal of this teaching is for your "faith level to increase" so you will start "laying hands on the sick". Mark shares practical principles for praying for the sick, moving beyond technique to full reliance on the Holy Spirit. Learn how to conduct an effective "interview" to find the root cause of sickness—which can range from physical germs to emotional trauma, unforgiveness, or demonic affliction Pastor John shares powerful, recent encounters of the Holy Spirit's power to illustrate the desperate need and divine readiness for God’s glory to manifest today. The core message challenges the common "clergy/laity distinction," reminding every Christian that they are an inheritor of Jesus’ delegated spiritual authority to advance the Kingdom of God.
