IAP #270 – Summertime, Summertime, Sum-Sum-Summertime

On this week’s show I started by talking about the possible upcoming Playstation 4 game update for Planetside 2. Andy has shown a date next week but will that mean it will be coming finally? After that I talked about the July 16th PC Game Update which brought back summertime to Auraxis. Then I spent a few minutes going over the new Firestorm implant and the bickering it has started in the community. I finished this week by talking about the image teased by Alan last week. IAP #269 – I Want To Hack

On this week’s show I started by covering the rather small July 8th game update which fixed a huge problem in the game: the Infinite Repair bug. After that I did a PSA about the current Nvidia graphics drivers and how they are affecting Planetside 2. Next I talked about vehicle hacking and how I. Want. To. Hack. IAP #268 – Repair Bug Fireworks

On this week’s show I started by covering the ending Summer Event which included Double XP for all and the return of Independence Day themed items to the store. Then I covered the July 1st Hotfix which most importantly brought a band-aid fix to the Voice Comms issue in game. IAP #267 – Something Wicked This Way Comes

On this week’s show I started by covering the June 24th PC Hotfix which brought a new round of tweaks to the Colossus as well as some miscellaneous bug fixes. After that I made a second plea to rethink the removal of Directive Weapons from ASP unlocks. It’s been two years since ASP was looked at and I think it’s time. I finished this week by talking about the strange occurrences on Esamir and what it might mean for the next game update. IAP #264 – The Dingo Ate My Baby

On this week’s show I started by covering the June 5th PTS update which brought a number of Colossus changes to the PTS along with some Bastion, Punisher and miscellaneous changes. After that I congratulated the 5 finalists in the Community Creator Video Contest. There were five really awesome videos and it was hard to place my final vote. Lastly, I did a deeper dive into the Turrets, Utility, Defensive and Logistic slots of the Colossus. Something that hasn’t been covered much by the community yet. On this week’s show I started by covering last Friday’s Dev Live stream which included a new War Correspondent video, Outfit Wars changes, the Colossus and a sneak peak at the next next game update’s new Mission system. After that I talked about the May 29th PTS Update which brought everything to the PTS for testing along with a bunch of other balance changes to weapons, implants and the game itself. On this week’s show I started by going over the 17th Anniversary of the Planetside franchise and what great bundle deals you can pick up for a limited time in the Depot. After that I cover Andy’s Reddit post about the status of the next game update, the next Dev Live Stream and how work is coming along on the PS4. Next I talked about Andy’s interview over at wccftech.com and finished this week questioning if the honeymoon phase of the Escalation game update is over and where we need to go next in game. On this week’s show I started off talking about Wrel’s post about things they’ve learned from the Alpha Cycle 2 qualification phase. I’m most excited about the brackets for larger outfits! Then it was on to Outfit Wars Alpha 2 results with congratulations going out to the winners as well as my stats wrap up just like last time. Unlike last time though, NC was the big winner. After that I talked about how everyone can help fix the in-game Comms issue and finished this week talking about an upcoming PSForever event that vets will want to check out. On this week’s show I started by quickly celebrating 5 years of podcasting. I can’t say I ever knew I’d still be doing this in 2020, but I’m glad you are all still listening to me ramble on about a game I love. IAP #259 – The Brothers

On this week’s show I started by covering the April 29th Game Update which brought Outfit Wars Alpha Phase 2 to the live servers. Listen close because the Qualification Phase has been radically changed. After that I talked about the small PTS update which introduced the Russian and Chinese translations to the game. Then, it was on to the meat of this week’s show: the April 29th Dev Livestream. We saw a new gun, a new tank, some Outfit quality of life changes and, last but not least, a picture that will live on in infamy. Lastly, I wanted to give some love to a website I use every day. On this week’s show I first went over the April 15th game update which introduced a new loadout slot, new items and a revamp to some of the Escalation stuff. After that I went over Andy’s apology on Reddit for the poor execution of the game update. There were also some other nuggets in there to talk about (like the next Dev Live Stream!). I finished this week by talking about the negative side of Outfit Wars and what needs to be changed, why it needs to be changed and if I know, how it should be changed. On this week’s show I started by talking about all the Outfit Wars matches that happened over the weekend. A huge CONGRATS to all the winners from each server in every bracket! After I gave my perspective as a player on an Outfit Wars team. On this week’s show I started by covering the return of the Nanite Appreciation items to the depot through April 26th. This is another great way for new players to flesh out their armory with some cool guns and camos in game. After that I talked about the changes to the Outfit Wars scoring system based on exploiting scores and cheese. The new system is better, but still flawed. On this week’s show I started by covering the March 25th Emerald server hardware upgrade and game update which brought a lot of changes to Desolation. After that I talked about how content creators can get access to Observer Cam accounts by sending an e-mail to Rogue Planet Games. I look forward to seeing a lot of new awesome content! Next I gave my take on the Outfit Wars scoring scenario that is unfolding on every server. Some finales are going to be better than others. On this week’s show I started by talking about the current state of Rogue Planet Games in the face of the Coronavirus situation and what it means for development. After that I covered the small Hotfix that dropped on March 17th before moving on to the PTS update on the 20th which had a bunch of Desolation changes. I finished up this week by going over the Resurgence Bundles that are available in the depot that I forgot to talk about last week. Seriously, if you are a new player, the value vs. cost is astronomical and worth taking a look. On this week’s show I started by doing my civic duty so I took a minute to talk about the Coronavirus but it was quick and then it was right back to Planetside news with the massive Escalation update. I gave you all the news, from Bastions to Outfit Wars and everything in between. It really was a Megu Update!
