The Kingston Legacy #21: Pokemon Go Away

Robert Algeo and Josh Wodarz tackle most important issue of the day – Pokemon Go! Yes, yes, it’s another thing about Pokemon Go, but you know, with our irreverent spin on things. By irreverent, we mean Robert making fun of it and Josh laughing. Yep, that’s how we roll. Also, Robert once again makes his pitch for two versions of sports: the natural version, and the enhanced version. You know you’d want to watch that, right? Baseball played by people with cybernetic bats for arms. Ok, they don’t talk about that specifically, but they should’ve. Because that would be awesome.

The Kingston Legacy #20: How Did We Talk This Much About 24

Hey, it’s another month, and another Kingston Legacy. This month, it’s comics, 24, land mines, time traveling CIA agents moving Barack Obama to Mars, and an Indian miracle buster on the lam. Robert Algeo and Josh Wodarz have fun with it all. Because that’s what they do. Show notes and links: Exopolitics » Mars Jump Room (exopolitics.org) /r/Arrow gets fed up with their own show and decides to try something new for the summer : bestof (reddit.com) “Redditor asks for help IDing something found at a building site. Others say it’s a landmine. OP never posts again. https://t.co/aNEAzJElvV” (twitter.com) The Indian miracle-buster stuck in Finland (bbc.com)

The Kingston Legacy #19: Red Lobster Memories

Honestly, what more can you say. Robert Algeo and Josh Wodarz spend a lot of time discussing Red Lobster. Oh, and the drug Reanima, which has them a little leery. The Kingston Legacy #18: Robots Robots Robots

Hey, would you work for a robot boss? Would you grab a robot’s buttocks? Even if it was in order for the robot to lead you to safety? These are the extremely important questions that Robert Algeo and Josh Wodarz contemplate for April’s The Kingston Legacy. The Kingston Legacy #17: Hanging with the Weird Internet

Is the weird internet gone? Has our concept of weirdness changed? What the heck are Robert Algeo and Josh Wodarz even talking about? Well, we do discuss the idea of listicle articles about serial killers in the context of “This one amazing trick all serial killers do! And how you can use it to lose weight!” And we do discuss “The most unsettling video channel on the youtube” with it’s seemingly random test feeds of weird sounds, voices, and blank visuals. Join us in the weird, won’t you? The Kingston Legacy #16: Return of the Drones

To close out 2015, Robert Algeo and Josh Wodarz revisit drones. Unfortunately this episode did not get published until 2016, however. We blame the drones. In all seriousness (though they are rarely serious), the lads cover Tokyo's anti-drone drone, an unfortunate drone accident where a toddler lost an eye, Texas Chainsaw Police, parents attempting to get their children to eat carrots, competitive eating, the gene splicing tool known as Crispr, Josh totally messes up the Square-Cube law, giant viruses, and the cultural place of Osmosis Jones and where do the 90s and 00s begin and end. Join them for the fun. The fun, we tell you. Show notes and links: Tokyo Is Fighting Rogue Drones With Its Own Net-Carrying Drones (gizmodo.com) Toddler loses eyeball after errant drone slices it in half [Updated] (arstechnica.com) Someone Will Eventually Use CRISPR to Try to Make a Dragon or Unicorn (vice.com) Square-cube law - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (wikipedia.org) Meet the Scientist Who Injected Himself with 3.5 Million-Year-Old Bacteria (vice.com) Square-cube law - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (wikipedia.org)
