I called Bill using the Jawbone today. I currently use the BlueAnt Supertooth Light in my car. It has its own speaker and mic and attaches to the visor. Leo Laporte on the Bill Handel Show, KFI AM 640, Los Angeles, 7:50am, April 14, 2006 TiVo gets a second life at the ninth hour. A jury has awarded TiVo $74 million in its lawsuit against the DISH Network (Echostar). That means TiVo effectively owns the patents to the key technologies for DVRs (digital video recorders) including the ability to pause, rewind, and fast forward live programming. TiVo probably wouldn't have survived losing this lawsuit. Now all DVR manufacturers will have to license their technology from TiVo. Echostar plans to appeal. Running time: 5:57

Tech News for March 25, 2006 Microsoft says the consumer version of Vista (the next Windows) won't be out until 2007. Another major setback for this troubled release. Analysts say this could be good for Apple. France legalizes music piracy... sort of. Will Apple pull out? Amazon is taking heat for suggesting "adoption" books when searched for "abortion".
