The Manthers Podcast

As the end of another school year closes, we ponder the future of the Manthers. Thanks to all of our Fanthers who have stayed with us these two seasons!  We will be back!

Last year, we were honored to give the graduation speech.  This year, we’re sharing wise words from our principal, Mary Miller and from Siobhan O’Byrne, this year’s graduation speaker!   Thanks to both of them for allowing us to publish their speeches on the podcast!

Names have power.  And we set out to give Buell’s baby the most powerful name possible.  Jeremiah Ezekiel Buell it is!  (JEB, for short…)

We welcome Mrs. O’Byrne to the studio to discuss the robots, downward dogs, and scallops coming up in this year’s summer school program.  It’s heating up!

 We here at Manthers Studios are men of culture.  And as such, we offer our thoughts on the second greatest American art form (next to pro wrestling): musical theater.

The name of this episode is appropriate, since Buell’s nickname in college band was “Peanut” and Wang…well, he just loves Cracker Jack…but only for the toy surprise.  It’s our baseball episode!

As old men, there are two things we love to talk about: the glory days and how you kids have it easy.  This is the latter…enjoy!

In part II of our boba taste test, we try a couple of drinks from ShareTea and then sample some optional toppings. Thanks to Carlos and Ms. Cat for helping us out and treating us to some new drinks!

In conjunction with this month’s issue of The Voice and an article written by Madi, we celebrate  International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month with a list of some of our favorite women!

All aboard the Hypetrain, as we take a road trip down the street for the midnight release of the Nintendo Switch!  CHOO CHOO!

Well, we were supposed to talk about a few categories, but we wound up just arguing about La-La Land. **SPOILER ALERT** We talk about MAJOR plotlines of La-La Land, Hell or High Water, and Arrival in this episode. So if you don’t want the movies to be ruined, watch the movies first!

A more somber episode this week. We share some of our thoughts about the events of this past week. Just a warning, this episode is not going to be for everyone. But you what makes this country great? The freedom to not listen…which you already exercise… Be safe out there, and take care of each other, whether we agree on stuff or not.
