First up, the sound this week is great, last week Not great. Oops was so unaware, until I got many messages, oooopppsss, moving on. I've become acutely aware the call for bringing more ritual into my life, in the moments, minutes and beyond.  Weave it in effortlessly, intentionally and getting jiggy with life living through me.  I'm really kinda hacking the whole sustaining Awakened Realisation State thing and using the great love of ritual of mine is genius.  So here we are. Hiiiiii,  I took a little sabbatical from here while I recalibrated life without my son being with me full time.  He's settled into boarding school and I found myself in the Inbetweens which was a little wild and a little wonderful and a whole lot of whoa.  A somewhat unexpected transition, not that one has expectations.  I'm here, I'm back and I am still emerging, I've jumped on that Fire Horse and am up for the ride, let's see where we go next....... This week I talk about the discernment between stress and pressure and how that awareness can have extraordinary outcomes.  As we all know when pressure is applied to coal the result is diamonds.  So using this analogy we can apply it to ourselves.  Stress contracts us, pressure expands us.  Excellent listen especially for this time of year. When you’re both.  I’ve been part of the young parent group and in the older parents group.  Having older children and the surprise younger one, you get to experience quite the gamet of experiences.  Although in both roles I get longer than normal looks in the carpark by all the parents.  It’s a funny world this earth school.  I always remind myself, that ‘I get to do this’ and for that I am blessed. The quickening has started as our lives start to change again. Moving house and eventually complete change in day to day life in parenting and schooling. The energy is ripe. I adore change, it has been such a huge part of my life and I’ve found expansion and curiosity a huge part of how I navigate life. I appreciate it and I thrive in it. 63 ~  I had the idea to start sharing a series of NikStarr Wild Stories.   I have MANY.   I have an extremely eclectic life and my past is so profoundly contrasting to my last decade and this one is shaping up to be as diverse.  A few days ago I was awashed with memories of my oldest friend that I have known since birth and meandered through our story, our parallel lives, the insane moments they crisscrossed and what an extraordinary friendship it’s been.  We played on the edges of life and we visited in the most unusual of scenarios and both our stories went in the most unexpected avenues that either of us could never have imagined.  So I sought him out and found the ending of this season.  An honour and blessing it’s all been.
