With Halloween right around the corner, Caleb has once again cooked up a Halloween series for this years spooky festivities. During Halloween of last year, Caleb got Eric, Sean and Isaac to watch and discuss the 1984 horror comedy Night of the Comet. And due to Isaac's enthusiastic reception, Caleb was inspired to assemble the four part 80s horror comedy series they'll be doing this year, and since this Night of the Comet discussion is so tied into the conception of this soon to be released series, it seemed fitting to reupload it to the TNE feed as a primer for the episodes to come. Caleb and Isaac are back on the beat of resurrecting old series, and with James Cameron's next Avatar film looming on the horizon, they've decided to kick off a mini-Cameron series covering some of the stragglers they left out last time. They've recruited Eric to join them once again, as they wade into the waters of Cameron's first credited feature, the 1981 flying fish Italian cheapie that Cameron fought to have his name removed from. Isaac has been back in the basement of the TNE Speakeasy and he's been hard at work at his witches cauldron, cooking up new retrospectives for the podcast. But in the back of his mind, he couldn't escape the regret of how he handled the Michael Bay's Transformers retrospective. Long in the annuals of TNE history has he been displeased with how that series went, and now he's back to make peace with the franchise, switching gears and redoing the series in a new format! Caleb ran kicking and screaming at the idea of returning to these films, so Eric has once again joined in, now promoted as the regular co-host on this Redux series. What will happen on this journey? Will Isaac grow a new respect for these films? Will Eric see more flaws in them then before?
