Oh hi, I'm back! It was a busy and exciting summer. Now that I've reached a new normal, it's been fun getting back into the studio to chat with some cool people! I was so JAZZED to chat with an old friend of mine today, Amelia Lee. Amelia and I have known each other since our wholesome and maybe cringy middle school days. We got to catch up and chatted about her pursuit of dance and being glad it didn't end up being her career, her hustle lifestyle, how she keeps her ego in check, and more! So many great little nuggets today, thank you Amelia!!

Sarena Colbourne and I knew each other from high school, and only started talking again more recently when we found out we are both homeschooling our kids. I think it's so great when 2 people may not know each other well before, but then their paths cross again down the road and connect on so many things. Today we chat about pursuing her career in hair so that she could stay at home with her kids, her spiritual connection to nature, listening to her intuition, unschooling herself so she can homeschool her kids, and more! I got to catch up with one of my oldest friends today, Jodi Min! Jodi and I have known each other for practically our whole lives, but somehow the years have added up since we've had a good catch up! We reminisce about our childhood and some of our earliest memories, chat about sibling relationships, her decision to leave her teaching career, transitioning to starting her own business @luminiquelashes, and more! I was soooo excited to chat with Kelsey Bang today! I've been following Kelsey's YouTube channel for over 5 years now, and was always so drawn to her positive attitude and desire for adventure. I'm so thankful I got the chance to get to know her better! We chatted about getting started in making videos, putting their life up on YouTube and social media, making drastic life changes, living in an RV, the ultimate goal of being on a sailboat, and more! I got to chat about alllll the things today with Janel Kidd! It's amazing when you get to meet someone and can relate on so many topics. Today I got a chance to have a chat with Nancy Surby, whom I met on a pub crawl for a friend's birthday (hi Jaclyn!!) years ago. I never got to know her better, but she always stood out to me! We chatted about how she got into her career as an interior designer, finally giving in to owning her own business, her and her husband's decision to not have kids, learning how to pivot, and more! Today I got to chat with Sarah Attivi, someone I met through a previous guest (thanks Stacey!). We got into some LIFE stuff today. No April Fool's here! Today I got to chat with Adam Tymko, and I feel like he could've shared a dozen other stories! We chatted about his mindset when choosing his career, being in discovery mode to develop his spirituality, deepening his meditation practice, and takeaways from just a few of his travels. Adam's got some exciting things going on in the near future, so perhaps we'll get an update episode down the road! :)

20th episode! When I first started this podcast, my goal was to record 20 episodes, not really sure where things would go or how I'd get there. But here we are, and it's been such a joyful ride! I'm so glad I got to spend this special episode with Daphne (@noeldee), my first "stranger!" We chat about her journey in becoming a Reiki Master, how her spiritual identity has changed over the years, staying curious, and more! Here's to the next 20!

What an episode! Carole and I met years ago at work, but at best we were acquaintances. Carole discovered my podcast recently and reached out, and we were able to reconnect by recording an episode! You're in for a treat - Carole is such a great storyteller. I was captivated by her stories of past and present. We chat about defining periods in her life, being stuck in emotionally abusive relationships, becoming self-aware of patterns, and finding gratitude in it all. Enjoy! Time always goes by quickly when I'm chatting with my guests, but today did in particular! I got to spend some time with Stacey Bootsman today, and found out we actually have a lot in common: rugby, CrossFit, and letting go of control and expectations (ha!). We chat about her active nature growing up, how that's transitioned into her current life, modeling that for her kids, being intentional about community, and more! It's crazy to think that Lindsey and I have only met once in person, but have talked online so much more, and so it feels like I know her better than I do. So I was looking forward to actually understanding her story more. She's got quite the story! We talk about her reasons for going into and out of social work, navigating anxiety and pain, the power of food, and more! Today I got to catch up with my very flexible, creative, and chill friend, Tori Taphorn (those are the 3 words I would use to describe her lol)! It has been a long minute since we chatted, so I was so looking forward to hearing about everything that's been new for her. Tori shares about her upbringing in rural Alberta, curating her education to compliment her passion for art, and exploring new ways to be able to share her artistic creations with others, all while stretching her comfort zone. 5-6-7-8! What a great time I had today catching up with an old friend of mine, Amanda Ducharme. I haven't spoken to Amanda in over 10 years so I really was looking forward to seeing what she's been up to! We talked about her career that she's built from her passion of dance and human movement, making dance more accessible for her community, getting married right before the pandemic, and gaining wisdom from the generation before us.
