Gary Buckland became the 15th boxer to lift the trophy after a brilliant performance, knocking out the unbeaten British champion Gary Sykes in the semi-final before defeating Derry Mathews in the final - the Liverpool fighter gaining sweet revenge over Choi in a stunning second semi.
