Oh boy, oh boy how long has it been? Steve and Dave are granted and exit from Podcast purgatory and post their much anticipated season 2 episode 3. I think it's about movie reviews or something. I can't remember. I vow to not take this long to publish in the future; needless to say we've seen a little drop in downloads considering the absence from the podcast super highway. But we're BACK!! Wow, it's been a while since we have published a new episode. Lots of family obligations and spring activities have really slowed down Dave & Steve. Ah, there's no excuse!! But in any event, we're back w/ a little different episode to try and shed some light on the background of our (mostly Steve's) historical interest in film. This episode took more of an educational approach with some tips and recommendations for recording and watching film. That and Dave still can't stop clearing his throat and breathing heavy. In Episode 10 the PTB Podcast closes out season 1 w/ it's season finale w/ special guest Dan, from the Dan & Kody Podcast. Dave and Steve dive right in as Dan shares his brief brush w/ DC's finest. We talk NFL (banter), followed by Dave & Dan's courtship while discussing old technology and fashion trends. As the PTB Podcast was fortunate enough to have such a seasoned professional on we had Dan share some Podcasting 101 tips; while also sharing the future aspirations for the Dan & Kody Podcast. We conclude episode 10 w/ a quick taste test for Dan, a visit from the PTB toddler (curiosity get's the best of him), some goats screaming and finally some brainstorming for PTB Season 2........ENJOY!

As The PTB podcast begins to wrap up season 1 (episodes 1-10) Dave and Steve kick off episode 9 w/ some discussion about the holiday season festivities; which starts w/ Thanksgiving. The episode quickly gets derailed in PTB's first ever WORD OFF!! Dave and Steve have a list of words that are offensive if pronounced incorrectly that they reveal to each other in hopes to offend one another (Dave establishes a point/value system and takes things to the next level.......Steve as usual doesn't understand the assignment). Followed by a visit from the podcast Toddler, we chat about snow, and cap off w/ a list of our top 5 Christmas movies. In this special Halloween themed episode Dave & Steve have a very special guest swing by the PTB podcast to drop the hammer!! Hammertime graces us w/ his presences to talk favorite scary movies, our top Halloween costumes (Dave mixes up Super Troopers w/ Reno 911 - IDJIT!!), and we dive into a little of history of some times we've been afraid in our lives. There is a point where we even begin to talk Halloween candy, but it takes a dark turn (razor blades and apples) and Hammer sucks the air right out of the room. Needless to say a quick transition into the friendly neighborhood Toddle; followed by a quick intro into our most recent project submitted at the 72 hour film festival. In episode 7 things get off to a great start until Steve informs Dave our format might be kind of all over the place. After that the podcast is interrupted several times by highly ranked political figures, Dave decides he's done with the United States Postal Service, Steve believes head transplants are a thing of the future and we should all consider new bodies, and finally Dave and Steve debate if outdoor urinials are offensive or a thing of the future. Things are heating up and we apologize for the amount of time between postings. New things to look forward to; are the beginning of "Season 2 of the PTB Podcast" beginning with episode 10. Dave and Steve begin episode 6 w/ some technical difficulties, and in normal fashion instead of lending a helping hand Steve decides to document Dave's frustration w/ pictures and short videos. Ultimately Dave must record with his microphone snuggled nicely between two paint cans. The show must go on! Dave and Steve proceed to recap each others summer vacations, and in normal fashion dive right into Steve's extended anxiety issues; we really start to peal the inion here!! I mean this guy can't boil a pot of water without thinking he'll burn the house down. Finally they move on and bring you some riveting podcasting that includes discussion on condiment etiquette, also some more discussion on our impending journey to get our plaque to be entered into the Guinness Book of World Records. Dave and Steve follow this up with a countdown to Autumn/Fall, which leads to a listing of our top 3 all time summer movies. The Summer of Steve has come and gone once again. And in normal fashion expectations were high; but results were......ah not so great. In episode 5 Dave and Steve discuss Steve's hot-flashes at work (interrupted by the Dominos delivery guy), which ultimately results in a trip to the local hospital (sounds like something out of a soap opera). Dave visits Hershey Park and addresses how corporations deal w/ adversity. Steve visits a friend in PA which leads to a new Morty movie!! We touch on our ambition to be in the Genius book of world records and why we're so inspired. Steve talks opposite sex flatuants (no surprise here). The toddler makes his normal appearance, and finally we talk the Idgit of the cast. In Episode 4 Dave & Steve really are in the groove as we tackle a ton of subjects (most not relevant anymore; but still mind bending). Dave starts the cast w/ his tail between his legs in an official statement redaction, a well deserved analysis of the possibilities of Space Force, the NFL hall of fame intro ceremony, dependency on technology; and we cap off w/ a quick discussion on golf carts and well deserving Billionaires!! In episode three Dave still can't master the editing so we are asking the audience for forgiveness another week. He promises he'll learn soon. Steve and Dave navigated through several broad topics that include a recap of some of the details on how the Golden State killer was apprehended, the Washington Capitols recent Stanley Cup victory, the affect wild suburban animals have on Dave and Steve, and finally Steve attempts to link bears and parenting. No one said this would be easy but we are committed to excellence and will stop at nothing short of starring into each others eyes and talking about nonsense.
