On episode 12, our dear respected brother Bashir Abdulmumin joins us to talk about mental health & substance abuse in the Somali community. Bashir has over 15 years experience as a drug & alcohol counselor and has a master's degree in social work. Bashir spends most of his time working with youth development programs and provides mental health assistance to bipoc communities.

Ahmedshafii Farah is a 20 year old Somali MMA champion based out of Mechanicsburg, PA. He was raised in the United States where he began his career as a MMA fighter. Ahmed is currently undefeated in the MMA sport at the amateur level and will go professional in the next coming year. He joined us for Ep.11 where he spoke about his journey on how he got into fighting and also shares a special message regarding violence surrounding the youth in the inner cities of America.

On episode 10, Safia joins us and brings that women perspective that has been requested by our viewers. She speaks on her experience in the dating market and some of the issues the youth face around dating and finding love, marriage, etc.

LV served ten years in a federal prison for crimes he committed while he was a teenager. He survived prison as a teenager and goes onto to share some of the horrifying experiences while serving time. LV also shares some very critical information with the youth and uses his voice to advocate against violence & drugs!

Ismail Ahmed is a 19 year old entrepreneur with a focus in e-commerce. He speaks on his consulting business where he will teach courses and have trainings. Also, Ismail shares some very beneficial messages with his generation.

Jermaine Pegues emphasizes on his journey growing up in Seattle, his passion wanting to be in the music industry early on in life, and breaks down the mindset he had going into the industry and some very valuable messages that got him to becoming a A&R @ EPIC Records. Jermaine motivates the youth by sharing some experiences of how he overcame obstacles and kept going!

Hassan MJ is a Somali fitness instructor currently based in Minneapolis, MN. On this episode, he shares healthy tips on diet & exercise.

Barber Hassan speaks on his journey of becoming a barber at 16 yrs old and making the life changing decision at such a young age. He goes in depths breaking down the steps he took to reach his goals & why he didn't take the route of going to college. Hassan is 22 years old now, and has been a professional barber for 7 years and financially stable. He inspires the youth by sharing his story and bringing to light that success can be achieved in many different forms.

Dejuan Lofton shares his story on growing up in the inner cities of Washington and achieving discipline through sports.
