Courage dear heart, is a little poem about change. Written a few years ago as an introspective conversation with myself, I was trying to give a voice to the fear that I felt about changes that I was making at the time. I hope that, if you are also standing on the edge of the new and the unknown, that it encourages you too. If you are interested in more of my work, this poem can be found in my second collection of poems, A Counting of Love.

'...some of us are quietly mending our well-worn lives with the old threads handed down by women who walked the skin of mother earth before us...' A reading of a poem filled with rich imagery and metaphors. I hope it is a soft and soothing place for a few minutes and that it might allow for curiosity and questions within yourself.
