Venus is the goddess of love and beauty; as well as being the brightest planet in our solar system - Earth’s twin or sister. I used to be terrified of magic mushrooms. My rationale behind the fear was that I had a really scary trip in my teens. Garden gnomes and paintings on the way to the bathroom talking to me and insulting me; that kind of thing. This is the story about how I got in to Magical Mushroomland. When I was riding the Spadina streetcar last year, I was dropped with a $250 dollar ticket.  Which is basically the TTC's blanket conviction for everyone I suppose. The exception being the man who urinated on subway property ... but perhaps that is a story for another time. For real though, I think the real story here is just one of prejudice as well as just standing up for yourself when you know you are standing with the truth.

This is the first episode in the Rachel Z. Project.
