The Resus Bay

A patient with true anaphylaxis (shortness of breath, wheezing, dysrythmia, swelling) can be extremely stressfull for the EMS provider.  However, early epinephrine adminsitration can have significant positive affects for your patient.  Review your local protocols and make sure you are familiar with your epinephrine dosing.   Stay Safe!!

You probably wouldn't find yourself being overly concerned if you were presented with a patient that had a knee dislocation.  However, these types of injuries could be life altering.  You could even miss the injury!!!  Tune into our discussion to find out what the risks are and how to identify this type of injury.   Thanks for listening and stay safe.
