Cold Card's random-number-generator check in firmware only verified that an RNG existed — not that it was actually working. When it didn't work, the device generated deterministic (crackable) seed phrases that a computer with enough compute could guess. The attack is ONGOING. It originally hit MK III, MK IV is now being attacked, and it's "only a matter of time before the entire line of Cold Cards gets attacked." Air-gapped hardware means nothing when the device firmware itself has this bug. Arculus issued an official statement addressing the Cold Card vulnerability at 5:36. Alex's recommendation on-air (14:35 → 14:38): "Hardware wallet, just not Cold Card. And we recommend Arculus." The line to remember on Bitcoin: **$63,686**. That's the 55-month exponential moving average. If BTC's monthly candle closes above it, Will says the bear market has turned. If not, expect a lower low before this is over. Ethereum target: $900 (about a 22% drop from where we are). Hyperliquid target: $45 — the 12-month EMA — with the near-term short setup from $71 down to $64. Gold is a short too. The S&P and NASDAQ look particularly ugly heading into the FOMC — NASDAQ already broke both the 12- and 21-week EMAs and has another 6.6% down to reconnect with the 55-week.
