The Roommate Ramble

um.... hey so it's been a good two months haha. We're back! Right before we move back into our dorms, we decided to record an episode on how we're starting the college process- SATS, tours, meetings, all the stupid extra stuff we don't need. Also we're getting ready to go back to our little Covid- free school bubble, and how we're preparing for the new, and worse, restrictions we have. Enjoy! 

HAPPY NEW YEAR from Kenzie and Holly 😊 We hope everyone had a decent holiday season and New Year. Today we're talking about the few lights of 2020 that happened to us, + the things we hope will happen for 2021 and our goals by the end of this year. 

WELCOME to our impromptu Christmas Special! Today we have our school friends, Anna and Mallory, with us. We take our whole a$$ mic setup into Wegmans, Mackenzie tries (and fails) to get some guys to do an interview with us, we drive an hour out of the way to look at Christmas lights THAT AREN'T EVEN THERE, Mallory finds her new love for podcasting, and Anna ranks all of the guys she's hooked up with. WELCOME!!!! It's been a hot second, but we're done with school now so we have more time to put effort into making actual decent episodes. Anyway, this week we asked you to send us your shower thoughts, and today we're reading them all and analyzing them.  MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!

After taking a long break.. we're back with a new episode today!! In this episode we talk about the election, our last week on campus, some highlights of the week, and a special guest appearance from some of our dorm and prefects !

Today we talk about something that has been circling around our school lately and how we feel about it. Also how to be empathetic for others during this pandemic and also be grateful for what we have now, knowing this won’t last forever. Have a great last week of October 💗

So after last week's fiasco of recording multiple times and having all the audio deleted... WE MADE IT WORK! Today we're recording at night, so we're super tired and not very energetic, but we still tried to give some of our favorite tips for managing your time at school. Have a super dope day. 

today we interviewed the one and only Tyler Chenevert, who is currently a remote student at school with us. He is from Massachusetts and is a three year boarder. We talked about living on and off campus, hockey, driving, the wonders of French class, +a  Q&A. Enjoy!!!!!!

if you don't know Sheridan you're missing out. She dropped out of school after our sophomore year and went to COLLEGE!!! Today we talked to the most ICONIC girl that has ever walked our campus. The legend, Sheridan Ameo. She tells us about her life at college which is pretty insane along with her shenanigans at school here... grab the popcorn. 

WE'RE BACK!!!! And finally at school! Today we just talk about our first week at boarding school so far, what we're doing on the weekends, our class schedule, and our dorm room, enjoy! :)

She talks about living with a host family, being away from home, and her experience at multiple boarding schools. *EDIT* some of the clips kept overlapping each other and we couldn't fix it so we aren't talking over each other it's just the sound lol. ENJOY + next episode will be at school finally :)

Today we give our best advice for THRIVING in school- study tips, procrastination, motivation, etc. We also talk about how our habits have changed from middle school to high school + both of us got our driver’s licenses ✌️😗

Today we're taking it back to the old elementary school lesson of the toothpaste bottle, aka how we were taught not to spread rumors when we were young, but somehow still manage to. Can't really find a way to say this without sounding cheesy, but essentially the point is to stop talking about other peoples' lives, no one cares :) Enjoy this episode where we both have stories on how grown a$$ adults spread rumors about us as children.

Today's episode is a banger let me tell you- Holly faked a relationship for 6 months, Mackenzie's horrible Sadie Hawkins dance rejections, 36 tears shed in one week?! This was so fun to record, hope you enjoy our secondhand embarrassment plus some boy advice you probably already knew :)

Today's bonus episode we wanted to talk about how to spot the difference between real friends and school friends, and how to tell if someone is a fake friend. We also share some stories of how we found out people we thought were real friends turned out to be posers... smh. Also sharing some 4th of July stories, and Mackenzie's Boyfriend Board...?

We decided to have an episode where we just talk about random things going on with us- middle school beach raves, new music recs, hot new boys at school, college tours, + more random topics we come up with on the bat. ENJOY :)
