(Part 1 of 2) For the first time this Salon took place outside my apartment at a 2 floor Art Deco inspired lounge in the West Village called "Salon NYC!" Two bands performed, the 1920's quartet VINTAGE and the JC HOPKINS BIGGISH BAND. All performances in this podcast are of the bands and were recorded live at the Salon. This Salon celebrated Spring and took place on Kentcuky Derby Day (May 6th). The live performances were selected from Guest Performances. This Salon was a Masqurade Party and every one came in fantastic costumes! There was the Pope, a pregnant Nun accompanied by a Pimp, also the Corpse Bride, a tube of KY Jelly, plus pirates, angels, dames, Spacemen and the iPod guy. Please check out the pics! The Pope tells some dirty Catholic jokes (that is why we had to label it explicit). The live performances in this podacst were selected from the Performance Hour.
