With season five now a distant memory and the public crying out for the return of the fab three, The Sci Fi Guys are back for a one night only special stopgap show. This special show will see Stuart Claw joined by fellow Sci Fi Guy Christiaan Gough as they guide the listeners through an evening of anarchy and entertainment. The Era of Epic Fail Ends this Wednesday on The Sci Fi Guys The Sci Fi Guys are sad to announce that this Wednesday will mark the final show for current Sci Fi Guys presenter Aaron Darlington* in his role as full time member of the team as he leaves due to other commitments. “Whilst we are all sad to see Aaron go, sometimes real life gets in the way and as a result tough decisions have to be made,” commented Sci Fi Guys host Stuart Claw, “But he still has one more show to go and we aim to send him out with a bang!”. Known as the Dark Lord of Epic Fail, Aaron began on the show in Season 3 and has since then gone to become known for everything from epic fails, rants about video games and most recently his dramatic performances of Michael Bays Batman and other spoof movies. With the year now past the half way point and the so called summer in full swing, the Sci Fi Guys return to this week but no longer will the week be started with geek as the show has moved back to its former Wednesday night slot! The move back to Wednesday was announced on the last episode of the hit geek podcast, alongside the news that the show would also be moving to a bi-weekly basis to allow for more fresh content to be made for the show. “It was a tough decision to make, but ultimately the tough decisions turn out to be the right ones and we all have high hopes for the remaining episodes of the season,” commented Sci Fi Guys host Stuart Claw. Booked Out tells the story of the quirky exploits of the Polaroid loving artist Ailidh (Mirren Burke) as she spies and photographs the occupants of her block of flats. Jacob (Rollo Weeks), the boy next door who comes and goes quicker than Ailidh can take pictures. Jacqueline (Claire Garvey), the mysterious girl that Jacob is visiting and the slightly crazy Mrs Nicholls (Sylvia Syms) who Ailidh helps cope with her husband’s continuing existence after his death.
