#29 - With Chandler Smith - 29-Year-Old Real Estate Tycoon Owns Over 100 Properties

Welcome to the social realtor podcast. Today on the podcast, I sat down with a good friend of mine, a guy by the name of Matt Atkinson, and this guy owns over a hundred separate real estate properties. What he's been able to do, the amount of wealth he's been able to create through real estate is staggering. And he's gotten very creative with it. He's done some partnerships. He's done some seller financing deals. He started age 25. He's 41 today. And what there is I want to get him on the podcast is to really show a roadmap of how real estate investing can truly change your life and how easy it can be. Honestly, it doesn't have to be this crazy, complicated thing we've helped. Last year alone, my real estate team sold over 180 properties to investors. Every one of these people is gaining wealth. They're creating a future for themselves that will be by design. And they're going to be in a really good position for the next 15, 20, the rest of our lives years. So I wanted to share with him some of the strategies that we use. He talks about a few. I talk about a few. But there's so much information here that you can feel that take out of it and use in your life. And if you're a real estate agent listening to this and you're not working heavy with investors, you're missing a great opportunity. There's so much opportunity as investors are so many people with money right now. To be honest, it's pride. Never been more money in the economy than there is today in 2020. So take advantage of this. Take advantage of people that are looking to place their money in good vehicles, get creative with how you can find the right properties for them. Author of Best Selling Real Estate Book "The Next Wave of Influence in Real Estate", Jimmy is most known for his career in real estate during the past 15 years. In that time frame, he's sold over 2000 properties and has solidified himself as one of the top real estate agents in the country. This past year Jimmy sold the most expensive home in Wasatch Front MLS History at $35 million for a ranch near Oakley, Utah. Because of his success in real estate, Jimmy went on to build his real estate coaching company which currently coaches hundreds of real estate agents from all across the country. His courses "The Social Realtor" and "100K Agent Blueprint" have helped thousands of agents grow their business. He is also a popular speaker and regularly does trainings from Calgary to Texas and all over the country. Outside of Real Estate, Jimmy created one of the top business podcasts "The Jimmy Rex Show" that to date has been running weekly for just under two years and has been listened to over 10 million times throughout 165 episodes. In 2019 Jimmy released his first book, "The Next Wave of Influence in Real Estate," and it immediately hit the bestseller list on Amazon in multiple categories. Outside of being an author, Jimmy loves to travel and has visited over 60 countries as of 2019. His favorite types of trips are when he gets to go undercover as part of a select group working with The Child Liberation Foundation, helping to find and rescue children all over the world that are being sex trafficked. Jimmy has been on 11 operations and played a role in the rescue of over 100 children. Jimmy is also an active investor, with a portfolio that includes 15 personal investment properties and investments in over a dozen private companies, including Nikola Motors, Stance Socks, and Parachut.co.
