The SSL Podcast

Priscilla, Queen of the Unfortunate Campsite, is back to tell us about a landmark tree in her hometown. They should call Brent "Nostradamus" after this one because his prognostication skills are on point.

The always hilarious Chelsea Shorte is back to talk weddings, drinking, and coming out. We discuss the finer points of strip club experiences and why New Orleans might be the greatest party city on Earth.

National treasure KC Cambrel is back to give us the skinny on navigating the phenomenally gay Fire Island Pines. KC basically made it onto a reality show in the Eyes Wide Shut delirium of the island - so what did you do with your vacation?

Human being and social ingenue, Melvin Thomas, is back to tell us about his experience learning about the wonders of the female body first hand. This was a hard lesson for him to learn.

Lifestyle icon, home chef, and author Regyna Rubenstein came on by to tell us about her new all-dessert cookbook and her upcoming gig hosting the Grig'in' with the Girls drag brunch. We kvetch about book clubs, get into some dirty talk, and discuss the show raising money for the Washington Improv Theatre at Duplex Diner on May 12, 2018! Tickets available at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/grigin-w-the-gurls-2-a-drag-brunch-fundraiser-for-wit-tickets-45193559152?aff=efbeventtix

We talk to incompetent virgin and improviser, Seth Payne, over his early college days. There's a lot of confusion about the basics of sex and understanding social cues that has to be corrected.

Person who has been to Africa, Jason Coleman, is on this weeks' episode with his partner Aaron Polkey providing commentary. Jason tells us about a terrible experience with his host family and Brent rambles like a goddamned fool.

There's some relationship drama as Aaron Polkey (right) tells us about his first time meeting two presidents and Jason Coleman (left), his partner, goes bonkers. Listen as two people with completely different personalities try their hardest to make it through a podcast (and also not be the hosts of this show).

Brent's fiancé (and public enemy) Tristan Holley is in session to tell us one of his many crazy Mormon wedding stories. With special guest Sam Wingate and the natural obliviousness of Mormons, it's a crazy recount of how you can fail at cultural sensitivity.

Brent's brother Sam is in town and he tells us about being a mess in Podunk bars. Special guest (and Brent's fiancé) sits in for the chat. It's a nepotism friendly show this week!

It's part 2 of comedian Samantha Kelly breaking Adam and Brent down with lesbian witch magic. Dark comedy follows the dark occult as we go down the rabbit hole!

We're kicking off Season 2 of the SSL Podcast with a special two-part episode where they get they get a tarot card reading done on them by Baltimore comedian, Samantha Kelly. Adam goes first as we dig into the occult and read those tea leaves for filth.

This week we talked to improviser and all around party girl, Molly Fellenbaum. She told us about how she was mugged and decided to pursue her legal options which were less McBeal and more McClane

Kate "The Improviser" Symes comes back to tell us about some of the darker parts of her family history. We still make jokes though, despite Kate forgetting that this is (ostensibly) a comedy show!

Comedian and dad Rob Gordon is here to tell us about how he first met his child's mother. This one honestly might be the craziest story yet and Brent kind of has a meltdown about it.

Wham! Bam! Alyssa Cowan comes by to tell us about a break-up that didn't take well. She also proves that she's a real artist because she keeps a bullet journal.

Drag superstar and person, Bill Huff, came by to tell us more stories about his childhood. Big takeaway: if you ever have the opportunity to see a small town school's magic show, don't.

DC comedian Franqi French is back with another crazy story. This time she's gone from celebrity stalker to smut dealer. Thankfully, the only laws that were broken were those set down in Islam.

DJ and polymath Wes Della Volla came by to tell us about some of the car trouble he's had in the past. We go into detective mode and give him the classic bad cop, worse cop interview.

We talk to chef and fashionista, Jocko Fajardo, about his time working for music icon Diana Ross. No negativity in this one -- Jocko is just a ball of live, laugh, eat, pray, love!
