Well well well, here we are another week gone by and chatting all things leofinance once again. With only a 30 minute window for today's show we focused on answering user questions. The Rapid Fire Q&A Session! Here are some of the questions: @ezinwanne: What's the latest update on the DHF proposal? The leofinance marketing DHF proposal has passed! Last week it was at 15MM power and now it surpassed the 24MM level to reach approval. @tokenizedsociety asked What is the latest on ad-revenue buybacks? Evergreen stuff is being rolled out that is on the docket next in the sooniverse. @fokusnow HTML support wen? The answer is NOW. HTML functionality is live. And so much more... But you have to listen to the recording!

Well, after a two week hiatus by the Cat there is much to catch up on as the Sooniverse becomes NOW at a blistering pace! Recap on some things that have happened before we touch on what is in the works! Deployment Real Time Threads: The Threads feed gets updated live whenever there's a new Thread. People loved it but it was a little buggy, so we are cleaning the code to re-launch it some time this week. The 2nd official partnership with OnixCoin and their flagship game Army of Crypto went live. Make sure to check their community page and add engagement there. Go check their game and make a review on Leo! The Trending Tags got some love and look awesome now, with a hot tag next to the top three. Rich search: Lions can search for anything in the search box, and they will get suggestions based on users, tags, and communities. These suggestions are clean and separated from each other, improving the user experience. The Explore Page got a whole new feeling. Lions wanted a more friendly discovery option and we heard them. It is now easier to browse content and there's also a who to follow section with some of the most active authors on Threads and most prolific writers in high quality Long form content. On to what is coming up SOON: The bookmarks feature is getting an update Image uploading on HiveSigner+ Word count feature, finally New tickers are coming Threads section to community pages incoming Favorites menu incoming News2Threads is getting a lot of action,more sites will be added and a batch of users to start using it - if you want to be a tester, write to anomadsoul Three more partnerships coming, but we need the Lions to help us populate the existing ones and try out the apps of our partners: If this partnerships succeed, more projects will come. Check out SanR and ArmyOfCrypto LPUD got a new approach: With the price rise, lower inflation, less liquid out there, and 5M+ Leo powered up in a year, LPUD gets ranks now: Lion attack (150 leo) Cub attack (50 leo) This will give users a chance to participate even if they can't power up 150 month after month. The badge and the full prize array is still only available for 150 power ups, but there are some prizes for the Cub attack -> LPUD adapts to the new LeoVerse growth scenario. The Wensoon Show 196 Price of LEO is skyrocketing! Leo keeps pushing higher the past few weeks and it continues to look strong: + Between the new UI, new tokenomics, community loyalty and the Gamification side all created a huge synergy that has $leo on and uptrend contrary to the whole market, we mooning. Zealy came to an end: cardiac finish! + The top 10 really had to grind to stay on top. @Underlock and @Nonsowrites took 1st and 2nd, congrats! + As a final battle we had three armies who competed to create threads (that took character count, tags usage, poll usage, correct link sharing and more): black lions army defeated white and brown lions on an epic 36-hour battle with more than 23k quality threads. + Winners will be officially announced and prizes transferred on the 14th. No keyword this week, but SOON People already miss their quests, miss their hustling. Good news though - Zealy is here to stay! So instead of missing the grind use this time to rest cause on the 18th the grind begins again! Lpud is coming. + May was a record month for Leo powered up! Nearly 1.5M thanks to Zealy quests and the team powering up. So for June we have the goal is having 200 Lions or more powerup atleast 150 LEO. No total Leo goal cus Lions are dry… or are they? Either way, power up at least 150 Leo and do your part! UI and Ad Revs + View counters on threads and ad rev generated by the threads is a thing now. It breaks down how many people saw it capped at 3 views per dynamic IP so it’s not rigged. This also adds another layer or gamification that goes even one step further than Twitter! + The new long form discovery layout went live and it’s beautiful, users can see either Leo Finance or the whole Hive Blockchain. So cool! Crypto Market Chatter The SEC continues its obvious war against crypto. The blowback they didn't expect was the SEC stabilization act that is not being bandied about. Hive had a huge presence at web3 Berlin this past weekend, Leo even had a small booth so potential users learn about the Leoverse. Big success for the hive ecosytem. Elsewhere, U.S. inflation fell to 4% year over year so most expect the FED not to raise rates. How this impacts crypto remains to be seen. Interesting times per the usual.

Another week gone by and this one was a doozy! The leofinance discord server got hacked and the crypto market sold off (those items aren't exclusively related lol) Lion Strong At the end of the day, the leofinance server was down about three hours before everything got rectified. Furthermore the hackers only got $40 from the community from what we have seen. So basically, leofinance 1 hackers 0. This does remind us though that we should never click on random links and that DMs soliciting things do not come from mods. SEC hating again... The SEC filed suit against Binance with multiple charges and then to put icing on the cake...they decided to sue Coinbase as well. The irony in that is coinbase filed suit against the SEC a while back demanding answers from them on what coins are and are not considered securities so that they could be in compliance. Leofinance Updates And amidst all this week's drama the dev team is still cranking out updates. The latest is notifications. The notifications page is updated for a better user experience. A really cool feature is you can search through your notifications by user if you want to see all the interactions a specific user has done in regard to your content. Login in and actions... Basically everything works great outside of those using hivesigner. That seems to have some bugs still. Bug fix channel on discord to report anything you find. Payouts Posts now show the payouts in leo and hbd when you hover over the amount. The hbd number is the value of the hive and hbd you are receiving. The text will likely be updated to show "hive rewards" or something to that effect.

After a week away the cat is back! I have Khal giving us all the latest UI updates for leofinance and I gave all my opinions on the long form experience cus we all know I'm an old school blogger! Lions and Threads, Oh My! Long Form new Editor is here - and this cat loves how seamless it is to create posts now. Still a bug here or there but otherwise so much better. Remember, submit bugs to the bug fix channel in discord. Community Polls - Polls are working wonders, 21 communities still thriving and decentralized voting the author of the week. Pretty cool! Payout Display - if you hover over the payout display it will give you a breakdown of it. Leo Curation The curation update seems to be working well as there is more defined actions on how to have a chance at getting upvotes from the leo acct. Are lions have been getting more active, with a hell of a threadstorm a week ago as you can see the number of lions remains solid while the activity increases. And so much more... But you gotta watch the replay if you want it all as cat can't type that fast!

What an awesome week in the leofinance ecosystem! We saw LPUD hit a new record and the inflation rate on LEO get dropped, we'll get into it all below. LPUD Hits New Record! Power up day had a hell of a day with 525K leo being powered up, shattering the prior record of 333k. 267 lions powered up and it game from all levels: dolphins, plankton and others. LEO Inflation and Burns The inflation rate on LEO dropped from 25k a day to 5k due to burns and the purchase of leo to pay out delegator curation rewards. This trend should continue as the bounty acct needs to buy more leo as delegators continue to grow. Monthly Active Users Leofinance continues to see growth here as MAUs already hit 1,030 by the halfway mark of the month. There have been 71K threads in May already, crushing the previous record of 43K in February. Curation Updates The way threads are curated has seen some changes and the @leogrowth account is the place to see what that entails. It mainly has to do with limits based on pride rank and such. Other random updates Account switching is now live so soon is now. Photo uploading is also live, mainly seems to work fine on desktop - mobile is a wildcard and should be good in the next week or so. Following tab for longform is in the sooniverse, along with editing threads. Crypto Market Chatter Bitcoin teased as all and poked below that 27k area support before rallying and forming a reversal candle. Price has not really rallied off that yet, but it also has held the support so it will be interesting to see what happens over the rest of the week with price. Onward and upward Bugs keep getting worked out and features added so the UI expereince continues to get better. Until next time!

Updates The Profile has gotten updates as the BLOG link is now live and drafts are good to go as well. Setting page is coming soon with lots more options as well. Zealy Campaign KEYWORD(S) For those who may have missed it, the keyword(s) were announced on the AMA! Here is a link to the replay so you can find them! WEN NODE The UI is down because leofinance is making to many calls to the HIVE nodes and are being limited or just choking node production. Possible fixes: Create Leofinance's own node Spread leofinance calls out amongst all the nodes Sounds like option one is being leaned on as going forward it would make sense because volume is only gonna grow. Random Crypto Bitcoin is floundering in the mid 27k area near the lower end of it's current trading range. Are we bullish right now, are we bearish. It is up for speculation. This cat thinks we are neither at the moment.

The day is finally here. The new UI is now the live and technically beta as some features still need to be rolled out, but leofinance domain will take you to the new look UI. Soon is Now! The biggest update into the new UI is the leoinfra update that enables to social logins/sign ups to leofinance. Zealy Campaign The zealy campaign is spreading the word as new people are coming in looking to create accounts and some have questions on how too, so lend a helping hand if you see anyone inquiring. Speaking off zealy, today's keyword is.... Mainstream Microblogging for the win! Most new users coming in will likely engage in the short form which makes sense. Short-form is easier to engage and should help increase engagement rate. Long Form is Not Dead As the beta period of the new leofinance progress the accessibility to long form will become easier to find. I know this cat will still be creating long form content and the trending category will show long form content once all the dust settles. Sign Up & Account Keys Multitasking is a mofo. Between trying to write this recap, thread, host the livestream and interact in the discord chat I miss pieces of what Khal is sharing. Oops. There was a piece of about sign up and login through twitter for example. It sounded like after creating an account, after doing so you can download and change your keys so that leofinance is no longer storing/holding your keys. On the flipside, you would use your private keys to login and no longer your twitter ID to login. This makes sense for those who want to use other HIVE based Dapps. For those just looking to interact on leofinace than using twitter ID works just fine, no need to mess withe keys if not desired. SEO Improvement With the new UI the SEO ranking will likely improve due to several reasons including internal links, etc. Leoglossary will be a part of this growth as you will be able to search leoglossary within threads. Thus links from that being used. LeoAds The big updates to leoads will be live come later this month, atleast that is the word in the soonerverse. And so much more Plenty more was talked about, from current features to coming soon features like personalized feeds (which I really look forward too). Not all of it made the post, which is why joining us on the call is always the move! Onward and upward. Let's grow the community.

UI Updates The Leo alpha site continues to get updates as we steam roll toward the May 1st launch. Ads are live Ads are now showing on threads so that revenue generator is off an running in its first instance. There are still many adjustments coming when it comes to ads. One click voting You can now hit the toggle switch up top to turn on 1 click voting. The default is 5%, but in the future you will be able to customize the weighting. See no links! There is also a toggle switch to hide any threads that have links in them. So if you are sick of seeing link spamming, now you don't have too! Awesome Updates I like that all these updates are useful functionality things that users can benefit from. There are plenty more updates comning. Up your role When you hover over someone's user name on threads you will see their role on leofinance and their profile. More leopower you hold, the more baller role you have. Let's all aim to be an Apex Lions! NFT badges NFT badges is a cool idea. The idea is badges will be earned based on hitting certain milestones or completing certain things. I like this as an add on/upgrade of the roles. Promote Threads! The Zealy campaign is running strong and if you want to conquer the available quests and earn a shot at some $$$ then have at it and help promote LEO while having fun too! Also, 200K worth of HIVE delegations is also up for grabs. @theycallmedan is putting up 100K in delegations as a way to help promote and the @leofinance team is matching him! This should be interesting as coinbase as literally done everything asked of them, filed for every license they were directed to and basically bent over backwards to meet whatever the regulators wanted. Guess they had enough of all that and have basically sent a lawsuit just to demand a yes or no from the SEC so they know how to move forward. Apparently VISA announced they launched an ambitious crypto product roadmap... That's all folks! See you on the next one.

It's a day late, but not a dollar short! The AMA happened on Wednesday, lets blame it on Tax Day for missing the Tuesday slot hahaha. HBD Savings - When Ponzi So someone posted on twitter calling HBD a ponzi so of course the leo and hive community had full force fun with it. All sorts of tweets, threads and posts came out sarcastically "showing" why HBD has to be a ponzi. Leo Ads The dynamic of Leo Ad revenue is constantly growing. The addition of threads has already led to more ad revenue. The larger overhaul is still on docket, but it is a matter of WEN which is par for the course. The ad marketplace will allow for anyone to purchase ads. The revenue from those ads will get distributed to those who hold leo power. What's cool is the ads can purchased with other coins and those will be converted into leo and that leo will get distributed into the leo power balances of holders. Monthly Active Users Get the word out and get all the lions threading. April monthly active users is on pace for 900 which is slightly below the 1K we hit in March. There are 11 days left in April, we can pump it up. Tell your friends ;-) LPUD Crushing it again 252k Leo was powered up (3rd best in history). 167 users (3rd best in history) powered up. 77% of supply is now staked, pretty cool! Crypto News Blocktrades is pulling out of the U.S. market due to concerns over the SEC and them sending lawsuits to basically any crypto exchange of late. Coinbase announced if regulatory clarity doesn't emerge in the near future they may port their business overseas. May 1st launch, it is close! May 1 is the launch of alpha leo to full production. Should be an exciting time.

Bitcoin is starting to push again and obviously it is bringing excitement. That isn't the only exciting news though! Monthly Active Users (MAUs) The Q2 goal for alpha leo is 1,500 MAUs and well, little over a week in and 1,400 has already been hit. Sounds like we are well on our way to the 5K goal for 2023. Especially, considering that come May 1 we have the official launch of alpha leo to full production! Thread Environment Last Friday, @Khaleelkazi had a little roundtable feedback from some power users like @taskmaster4450 and myself. Several items were discussed, but creating a better environment in threads that's not full of just link posting is an overall goal. "Engagement score" is going to be a piece of that, but the overall culture needs to be cultivated by us, the users. We also talked about - why does someone want to hold LEO? Reasons we came up with: Influence Ad revenue Governance (polls having stake weights) Leofi Do you have any others you think are reasons to acquire and hold Leo? Put it in the comments if so. Also, @moretea pitched the reputation score being called ROAR SCORE. I like it, and want to here other ideas from the community. Throw your ideas in the comments. CUB Report The report is already is due out, but some data is still being waited on until the publish button can be hit. The good news is cub flipped deflationary last month and I expected that to continue as the burn revenue grows. Remember, the more we have staked on the bhbd and bhive pools the more burn revenue generated. General Crypto Bitcoin cracked 30K and is looking like an uptrend is in play. Its crazy how the narrative has changed after everything looking so negative just a few months ago. Metamask is apparently going to offer the ability to purchase crypto directly with fiat. MicroStrategy said they are now in the green again on their total bitcoin holdings as their average price is right around 30K. Feel good vibes seem to be coming back in Crypto

So target #1 of hitting 1K on the way to the 5K yearly goal. Crypto News Bot on Threads! Yep, forget chasing the latest crypto news on sites that are not leofinance (cus who wants to do that anyway) as there is now a news bot on threads! Leofinance now has a crypto news bot that not only grabs the latest crypto news, but runs it through ChatGPT to summarize the news into a thread. So cool! The bot's name is CRYPTO INSIGHTS. So if you see it, now you know. Cub Deflationary, so it is so! Tomorrow the latest cub report will be out and share the news that cub has gone deflationary! Hooray, there is now more cub being burned in March than being minted. Pretty freaking cool from this cat's perspective. At the same time, this doesn't mean cub price will moon, but it does mean that there is no new supply as a net effect hitting the market. Calling all Lions! This bull run has had both a number of familiarities and a number of differences. In 2017, there was a massive boom in interest for the crypto space. The ICO craze marked one of the highlights of the bull run. This time, there is the DeFi craze. There are some key differences between the ICO craze and the DeFi craze. DeFi feels more legitimate.
