Welcome to the first segment of The Corner's Corner!  In this episode, we dive into the technical details of IP 1559, a new fee market change standard in the cryptocurrency space.  This new regulation introduces a base fee for all transactions on the network, making it more efficient and predictable. The priority fee incentivizes miners to add transactions to the block faster, while the max cap sets a limit on the total fee you're willing to pay.  Despite its advantages, some miners may be hesitant to adopt IP 1559 due to reduced profits from the fixed base fee. In this episode of Coders Corner, we dive into the world of web3 and crypto and discuss EIPs (Ethereum Improvement Proposals).  We start by explaining what EIPs are and the first EIP to be discussed,  EIP 2981, which is the NFT royalty standard. This proposal provides NFT creators with a source of revenue by giving them a percentage of every transaction that occurs with their NFT.  The transactions are transparent and controlled by smart contracts, making it easy for everyone to see how the NFT is performing.  Additionally, this proposal handles all the calculations and administrative work involved in calculating royalties. However, it is important to note that this concept is still new and not widely adopted in the market, and can be a bit technical.
