Social Media Automation Using Mass Planner With Milo – Ep. 78
Hi everyone,
In this episode I interviewed a fellow named Milo who is a developer for an application called Mass Planner. This is probably one of the most in-depth social media automation tools out there.
During the interview I ask Milo about this tool, what some of the features are and how it can help you grow your social media fans quickly. Basically the tool consists of a lot of follow, like and comment features for Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.
Check out the interview and learn more about Mass Planner here.

Ben is actually giving his product away for free to anyone who is interested. You can get his product free here.

Interview with Ralph Henkerson of AwesomeVacationIdeas.com – Ep. 76
Today I am presenting another podcast interview with Ralph Henkerson. In this episode we discuss a travel opportunity Ralph is involved in. He discusses how he drives traffic through both social media and utilizing a platform called Staged for driving YouTube traffic. Ralph mainly uses a large Facebook fan page he built up to 20k likes by specifically targeting foreign countries to get very cheap “likes” on Facebook. He then targets these people for his vacation opportunities to make extra income online.
You can check out Ralph’s vacation site at AwesomeVacationIdeas.com
He also has a page here – http://gotwitterbuilder.com/

Interview with Laura Roeder of MeetEdgar.com – Ep. 76
Today I am presenting another podcast episode with Laura Roeder. Laura has been in the online marketing space for some time now, I actually originally heard about her through Derek Halpern of SocialTriggers.
In this episode we mostly discussed Laura’s new application Edgar. If you have used tools like Hootsuite before you will know that having something to help automate and schedule your social media content is important these days. Edgar actually stands out apart from most of the free solutions out there by categorizing and recycling old content. I like the idea behind Edgar because you can queue up old blog content from say a year ago and Edgar will share this content for you not once but potentially several times to reach a maximum audience.
It also helps determine when most engagement is happening so you can adjust accordingly to your posting schedule, all you are left to do is simply engage with your fans!
Check out Edgar here.
We also talked a bit about Laura’s experience with paying for high end coaching to get her to where she is today.
You can learn more about Laura on her site LKRSocialMedia.

Interview with Stephen Warren of Swatsdat.com – Ep. 75
Today I am presenting another podcast with Stephen Warren. Stephen actually found me through Fiverr and wanted to join me to discuss his software business Swatsdat.
I ask him a lot of questions in this interview about the process of having software made. His team his worked on many projects both small and large scale.
What I thought was most interesting about this interview was Stephen talked about how he shut down his office of 20 employees and asked everyone if they wanted to work from home instead of coming into the office every day!

Ryan Seme on Private Labeling products to sell on Amazon – Ep. 74
I have not been as active with my podcasts as most of you should all know. Ryan reached out to me through Fiverr and I really liked the topic he presented to me which happened to be all about selling on Amazon.
I am personally attempting to sell on Amazon myself as of just a few weeks ago I opened my own account and started buying products wholesale.
In this interview Ryan discusses what it’s like to private label your own product on Amazon and what is working for him today in regards to ranking his products.
I actually learned a lot from speaking with him and hopefully if you have been thinking about selling on Amazon you will get some value out of this episode!

Today I’m sharing another podcast episode with Tom John who is the owner of fuel radio. I originally intended on sharing this article on my metalcore kingdom blog but I decided to share it here instead.

Interview with Lee Martin of CPAElites.com – Ep. 72
I’m sharing another podcast episode today with Lee Martin of the CPAElites.com forum. In this episode Lee shares quite a bit of information about how he started his forum and we talk about some CPA tactics.
I was excited to do this interview because I had yet to have anyone on the show who does CPA marketing, I’ve dabbled in it a bit previously but never had much luck with it. I was able to get myself into a few affiliate networks with ease but never put a ton of time into really mastering it. I think once you get a profitable campaign going through advertising via say YouTube you can really make quite a bit of money with CPA.
Hope you enjoy the episode and be sure to check out Lee’s forum, it’s growing every day and now has over 30k members!

Some Updates On What I’m Working On – Ep. 71
So in my last podcast episode I talked about some updates on what I’m currently doing. Things have changed quite a bit over the past couple weeks for me, I am no longer co-running the LightningRank.com service. You can read more details about this in Jon’s post.
I’ve decided to basically continue working on a model called “Rank & Rent” which is to rank brand new sites organically via Google and rent them out to local businesses. I talk about this in the episode and how I plan to work on some SEO outsourcing myself on the side as a consultant. I’ve decided that I enjoy the SEO game and would like to continue with it.
I now have my own small 5 site private blog network which will be quite useful for ranking my own niches sites, especially due to the fact that I can maintain permanent home page article placement (A perk not included with services like LightningRank).
I’m looking forward to the rest of the year to see what I can accomplish with these projects!

Staying Focused & Some Updates On Current Projects – Ep. 70
I have not posted an actual podcast episode in a few weeks now. I decided to record a short 10 minute show today to talk a bit about my current projects.
I’m currently having a lot of success with an SEO service I run with Jon Haver of Authority Website Income. This is the main reason I have held off on podcasting. You can check out Lightning Rank here.
Beyond this I’m staying very focused on one niche site I’d like to build out to become a large authority site over time.
Hope you enjoy today’s episode!

Learning From Over 140 Millionaires With Jaime Tardy – Ep. 69
I am excited to share this new podcast episode with all of you today. I had the pleasure of being able to interview Jaime Tardy who is the founder of the Eventual Millionaire. Jaime has an interview show entirely focused on interviewing people that are millionaires!
We talked a lot in this episode about some common trends that she learned after interviewing now over 140 millionaires! The biggest take away being that the people who have had success didn’t let excuses get in there way. Jaime talks a lot about how a common excuse she used to use was “I don’t have the time”, a lot of people make excuses like these all the time. I can’t tell you how many people both friends and family I know personally who make excuses like this ALL THE TIME!
I personally believe after being involved in MLM marketing, online marketing and reading a lot of personal development books this is definitely a big problem for a lot of people when it comes to achieving success! I’m the type of person who believes you should take the time to really stick to your dreams and goals without letting excuses get in the way.
We also talked a lot about just getting out there and taking action, Jaime talks about how simple it was to interview people by just putting the effort in to network, build relationships and send emails just asking for new guests to join her on her show. I talk about the same exact thing in my book “How To Build Authority Relationships Through Online Marketing”
We even discussed mastermind groups which has been something Jaime has been doing for over 2 years with folks like Pat Flynn of the SmartPassiveIncome blog.
This was definitely one of my favorite interviews as of yet! Jaime has been a big inspiration for my own show and I’m glad she was able to take the time out of her busy schedule to share her story and some great advice with myself and my audience.

How To Build A Successful Niche Site With Perrin Carrel – Ep. 68
I’m happy to share this very informative interview with all of you today. I interviewed Perrin Carrel who is the owner of an Amazon niche site called A Penny Shaved
Perrin also works closely with Spencer Haws over at the Niche Pursuits blog.
In this episode Perrin talks a lot about how he was able to build out his site, what he has learned through out the past year and what’s working today for link building. A lot of insight on the build of his public niche site can be found on the niche pursuits blog.
Perrin mentions that he hires specific Freelance writers to give his niche sites one unique personality so the articles flow well on each site. He also has used sources such as Grad Savers for his article writing.
In terms of link building Perrin talks a lot about the power of using Private Blog Networks and how this has really helped him rank his niche sites among the top 10 results on Google for a lot of high traffic keywords. From there creating in-depth content allows him to start picking up traffic on secondary long tail traffic.
I’m personally a co-founder of the Lightning Rank Private Blog Network and I’ve already seen some amazing results for our clients so I know that these link building methods work.

Learning About Product Launches With Fergal Downes – Ep. 67
Today I’m sharing another podcast episode with Fergal Downes. Fergal has done quite well selling his own products through the popular Warrior Forum so in this episode I asked him some key things people can do when launching their own products online.
I personally failed miserably with my first WSO and my 2nd one made close to $1000 in revenue total. I learned quite a bit from the Six Figure Alliance course which Fergal is also a member of, it covers pretty much everything A-Z in terms of product launches.

Learning How To Optimize Local SEO With Mark Herre – Ep. 63
On today’s episode I interviewed Mark Herre. Mark has been offering SEO services to businesses since 1994, I had yet to have anyone on the show to discuss Local SEO so we decided to tackle that as the topic for today’s episode.
You can check out Mark’s site over at SEOGame.com
We spent a lot of time discussing some must have pieces that will be needed when optimizing your site for local SEO. Setting up Google Authorship, Google Places and using elements to help your appearance in search such as Schema.org and Rich Text Snippet Mark Up.
Mark stresses how important it is to work with clients who are willing to take what they have learned and run with it to continuously be able to do their own SEO work after he shows his clients what do to. He compares this to a lot of typical SEO Agencies that will do work for a client and never exactly explain what’s going on behind the scenes, where as Mark wants his clients to learn and be able to produce results themselves.
Mark typically uses a lot of web 2.0 sites for ranking his clients content, using free sources such as WordPress.com to create free blogs for his clients to manually create articles and backlinks for ranking content.
Mark also shared a blueprint he follows for Local SEO Optimization, check it out:
Mark’s Blueprint For Optimizing Local SEO Results

Empowering Men To Live Better With Andrew Ferebee – Ep. 62
Today on the show I interviewed Andrew Ferebee who hosts the podcast & blog Knowledge For Men.
Andrew shares his story and talks a lot in this episode about creating the ultimate resource for men to learn about various topics, anything from dating to personal development.
I was excited to see that Andrew had even interviewed Dan Bacon of the Modern Man, a dating guide I particularly read through several years ago. Andrew has really hit the ground running creating epic articles and content that has become more of a resource for men vs. creating entertainment content (think Maxim Magazine).
We talk about how Andrew was able to really bring a huge audience to his blog and show through a lot of social media promotion using sites such as Reddit to create a viral effect. Writing epic content was a huge part in his initial success.

Re-Branding To Become The Unmistakeable Creative with Srini Rao – Ep. 61
Today on the show I present another podcast episode with Srini Rao. Srini is well known for the podcast Blogcast FM and recently re-branded his show to take a whole new direction with his new show – The Unmistakeable Creative.
In this episode we talk a lot about podcasting and Srini’s take on his re-brand, how his audience and guests gradually changed over the past year leading up to the creation of the Unmistakeable Creative.
I learned a lot from Srini in this episode, he really takes a stand on creating a show that is in line with his passion for art and creativity, featuring guests who have done some really amazing things. He mentioned in the show for example how someone reached out to him about how they walked a dog around the globe with them while traveling. It’s stories such as this one that inspire Srini and get him excited about his new show and what’s to come in 2014.
