It seems that lately our society has been heading down a detrimental path that is causing many people to dismiss anyone who doesn’t share their perspective on the world. This can only affect us negatively. It is vital to our growth as humans that we value those with a different perspective and that we maintain an open mind when interacting with people who see the world differently then we do. While it is easy to recognize differences like gender and ethnicity, generational differences play a big role in how we interact with others.
