Here's the long lost album by Johhny Mathis that was shelved back in 1980...it was produced by Bernard Edwards & Nile Rodgers of Chic.  Their sleek style was sophisticated, taut, and lean, with infectious rhythms propelled by Rodgers' searing guitar, Edwards' melodic bass,Tony Thompson's unpredictable drums, and the lustrous harmonies of singers including Alfa Anderson, Luci Martin, Fonzi Thornton, and Michelle Cobbs. Chic went beyond Disco, incorporating strains of funk, jazz, rock, Latin, and classical into their composition and productions.And they found a kindred adeventurous soul in Johnny Mathis.
