Is Butter Paleo?
In this episode of This Paleo Life. Jeremy talks butter. He Carry’s on from the last episode about Dairy being a gray area and a no go on the Paleo diet.
We didn’t have butter when we were living in caves
Many top Paleo influencers including Mark Sisson from marksdailyapple.com and Robb Wolf from robbwolf.com are pro grass fed butter. Dave Asprey from bulletproofexec.com is also a huge advocate on grass fed butter, he even puts it in his coffee. Check it out here.
Do NOT confuse grass fed butter with Margarine or any other lower quality garbage which is a bunch of chemicals formed into a mass of lard.
Technically being it is a gray area. Butter is not 100% paleo if you want to really get down to the nitty gritty about it but there is a very good argument for why it should be included into your paleo diet. Even the biggest names in the Paleo world do not see any viable argument to not include grass fed butter into your diet.
