This week we're talking about Alita and, despite what our title may suggest, we didn't hate it. Heck, Jackson even liked it. We're just kind of confused by it, though.

This week, we take a far more serious look at ROMA, the incredible work that went into it and the overwhelming banality of death.    Plus a brief discussion of chickens.

When BlacKkKlansman came out, Jackson was out of the country. Which was a bummer, cus we really wanted to talk about it. Thankfully, it got nominated for Best Picture in the Oscars so hey, here we are!

Alien month begins! Sean is already exhausted, Jackson adopts a new identity while defending Alien 3 and we talk morality shifts from one Alien movie to the next.   Also apologies for the audio quality on Jackson's end - We're setting up new microphones and some issues may be present, but it should be solved by next week.

With Into The Spider-Verse coming out in a little over a week, we're going back to the old Spideys, starting with Raimi's first two! Are they as good as we remember?   (Yes.)    Next week we look at the "bad" Spideys and debate which is worse: Spider-Man 3 or The Amazing Spider-Man 2!

You ask, we deliver! We're back with part 3 of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and boy do we have some hot takes. But first, Jackson's breaks down why the format may have changed and Sean wonders why he lets people drag him into this yet again.

This movie is a train wreck. Jackson wanted to talk about Harry Potter and he could have chosen literally any other movie, but no. It has to be this nightmare.  Though we do have so fun predicting the future plot twists they're gonna try and dump on us.

This episode went places we weren't expecting.

This week we planned to talk about Upgrade. And we did! For all of about five minutes, then veered off into a delirium that comes from both hosts being exhausted but still trying to create a show. Upgrades pretty good though.

It's our Halloween episode and we're talking about one of Sean's favorite fall traditions - Over the Garden Wall! Its an episode full of death, themes and spooks! What a concept!   Also, this Saturday, Nov. 3rd is Extra Life's Day of Play and Sean is streaming for 12 straight hours in support of Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. The Hate U Give is a wonderful movie, full of deeper themes and important messages. We don't really talk about that, instead focusing on how the narrative plays with established tropes to create deeper meaning within the YA world.
