Total Party Kill

How many of these claymen are there? And who even knows what they are?! At least our heroes know that they are gross; that has to count for something. There's something inside! Tootsie Pop Oozes, or something! Erm, should Gurn be turned on if they come onto him? Wait... Gurn? Why so quiet? STRUGGLE!

The temple is in sight! But... no one can seem to open the door to get inside. Calling this a temple seems to be a bit much, though. It's definitely more akin to a brick factory. Or at least our heroes could consider it in that light, if they could see inside all this darkness. Surely there's nothing creeping around in here waiting to pounce on them.

There's no ambushing coming up here any time soon! Or, at least the group can hope, until a dragon burns their boat or house down. Thankfully, they find a river! Will this lead them the correct way to the last piece of the forge puzzle? Roy's heritage comes into question, again! Definitely something wrong with that guy...

Ambush!! It's about time to fireball the group, or else these trolls will just keep coming back! Lhoke can dodge, it'll be okay. Better keep Morrigan out of the swamp water, else she's going to become some monster's meal tonight. Good thing the rest of the party convinced Roy to craft that boat, or else there wouldn't be anywhere... safe? for them to sleep! But, who's going to sleep with this new rogue about?

So a cleric, a dwarf, a gnoll, a wizard, and two elves swim into a swamp... and you find out real quickly that Roy's a dainty princess who doesn't want to get his feet wet. Lhoke turns out to be a gentleman (surprising?) and carries his new companion around. Everyone else in the party, time to suffer a horribly moist and muggy fate for the time being!

You gotta pay the giant toll if you wanna cross the bridge! Or, well, get rocks thrown at you anyway. Better dispatch these guys before they (or Gurn) bull rush Roy off! If the stone giants don't get them, then the flock of drakes sleep-hanging like a troop of bats underneath might...

It's time to make some music! Our heroes discuss who's going to have the honor of playing the dragon horn later. Good thing they now have someone who knows bard stuff! Onward to the next temple, they come across a seemingly normal stone-based bridge. What kind of questions are they going to have to answer in order to cross?

The heroes have found another piece of the puzzle they need in order to relight the forge! Lucky for them, that temple was pretty straight forward. Minerva's "eating" habits and drug problem confuse yet another person. Daranissa's sure that one day it'll make a difference! Everyone will eat their words when she's flying around saving lives!

Our heroes didn't do too much damage to that drake, but it fell fairly quickly. Hmmmm? Wait, are they hearing voices? They really are going through some crazy post-traumatic water stress disorder. Hopefully it's not an ambush! Hold on a second, are we sure this new guy isn't the one who killed those spire drakes..?

Gurn and Roy have a moment! Their broship is blossoming well over the wizard's choice to not run away at the sign of danger! Good thing, too, since they've found some dead spiney dragons. If they're dead, what could have killed them? Might still make a tasty treat! If its friend who returns home lets them live long enough to craft some jerky...

What's a better way to wake up in the middle of the night, than to the sound of a large, exquisite new boat landing beside your camp! Talk about a dry docking! Now's time to ask the hard question: who knows how to sail? *crickets* Maybe they should at least christen it with a name!

Soon enough the party's about to be lifeless! Should they stay or should they go now? Gurn's never one to leave a fight, maybe he can convince Roy to stay and fireball these undead into cinders with him! Either way, almost everyone in the party is going to have fun fighting off the wight rot that's sappng away their very life essence!

The heroes finish up some magic item creation on their way back to a river split. Maybe they're finally going the right direction to find the next temple! Soon, very soon... they will have a boat! Or at least Roy will. Perhaps they could ask that scarecrow for directions? Or those nice guys charging right forwa... OH GOD THEY'RE NOT ALIVE!

With a new player on the horizon, we get a rundown on the current party composition and ideals! Besides boats and Daranissa, it doesn't sound like they agree on much more! Lhoke's terribly excited to find the next temple, since they've just been wandering around these Dwarf holes to no avail. However, they get a little pun-tracked... as if boat stuff wasn't enough to drive Roy bonkers!

What a bunch of filthy giants! Good thing Roy's around, otherwise Lhoke would never be able to recognize Dwarven names. Suddenly, grave robbing doesn't seem like such a good idea. The heroes bore themselves over historical practices before spending as much time as possible traversing the massive interconnected and partially caved-in network of caverns. Don't forget to check the dwarf's crotch!

With this new night house that the wizard can summon up, our heroes should never have to worry about being caught off guard in their sleep ever again! It's time to appease the hand! From out of these presumed tombs appears a few giants, who had been keen on camping, but now have a new desire to murder the heroes! Looks like Gurn might be in danger, but hopefully he can quickly come up with a signal that Roy can't miss!

Why does it seem that everyone who joins the party eventually dies some sort of horrible death? The party discusses contigencies for if Lhoke loses control around friendly giants, but clearly what else is a pit good for? Time to guess which direction to head next! There's got to be a canyon-based temple around here somewhere...

With the giant venus flytrap monster in a pile of lifeless leafy bits at their feet, the heroes do their best to pillage about this presumed forest temple! Surely there is something they need to pick-up here... like maybe these exploding stones of fire? Watch for shrapnel! Oh, and sludge. Definitely watch out for that black mold slimy gross stuff...

The heroes just want this temple's inhabitant to leaf them alone! Doesn't take long for Gurn to be eaten, of course! One can't blame the plant though, it's been ages since it's had fresh blood! Wonder what it feels like if something you ate heals itself inside of you... Good think they've got a Lhoke dwarf around to make quick work of monstrous sneak attackers!

It's a map! Good thing there are at least two people in the party who can do geography, otherwise how would they find all the places they don't need to go? That's where all the best loots are kept! At least it's helping them quickly make their way to the second temple. How many giants are they going to find ransacking this one?
