Hey everybody, thanks for checking out my first ever solo podcast! If you’ve listened to previous episodes of Trainer’s Talk, or if you have looked over this site, you know that all previous episodes have been interviews with other trainers. But this episode, episode 32, is all me. What got me going was an interview I read in a popular magazine geared toward personal trainers. The interview was of a popular trainer trying to market a new certification to other personal trainers. Now, I don’t know anything about this certification and it may contain some awesome content. I just felt like I was being marketed to and it rubbed me the wrong way. But…without going too much into my thoughts here in the show notes, I’ll just let the podcast speak the rest for me. Reaghan Hayden is the Founder of Fit Evolution, and the creator of the Steel Strong DVD, which is changing fitness 15 minutes at a time.  Reaghan is a featured Video Fitness Trainer at Fit.net.  She is also an ACE-Certified Group Fitness Instructor, with continuing education in pre- and post-natal exercise, as well as women-over-50 fitness.  After an emergency C-section, Reaghan got herself back into shape fast, losing more than forty pounds in a month.  She is sharing what she learned with other new mothers in the Mommy Fitness program she teaches at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.  In between her husband’s deployments with a U. S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team, and their family’s frequent moves, she often felt stressed and overwhelmed.  Like a lot of moms, Reaghan had stopped taking care of herself.  After her third child was born by emergency c-section, Reaghan decided to get her post-baby body Steel Strong, and now she’s sharing what worked for her with women of all ages.  Reaghan’s remarkable success as a personal trainer was featured in Natural Awakenings magazine.
