We went ice fishing and let's just say, the fish weren't the only cold blooded beings out that day. Catch and release was the name of the game... The tug was a drug for Sam and Age while V and the fish both died a little inside. 

We went to the National Western Stock Show in 2019 and had a WHOLE experience, so we're doing some serious reminiscing in honor of NWSS 2020. We saw all the horses, a bear(skin) or twelve, and far more lil' piggies than some of us were ready for. Giddy up, we may just take up horse riding y'all.

Somehow we about burned to death while in the snow... We went snowshoeing and definitely overdid it on the whole layering up thing, but V turned a new leaf and Age and Sam now have to compete in a foot race. Don't ask...

We hit up an auction, which some considered an estate sale, but we found to be nothing more than an overpriced garage sale. To each his own, but we definitely got bamboozled.

Hockey Anyone?

We went and froze our lil buns off in the nosebleed section at a hockey game last season, and had some pretty deep convos about race within the sport. Lots of feelings and opinions, y'all. Lots.

Did you know that if you put three black women on a one mile hike with an average grade of 45%, you’ll end up with six gumby legs, 7,248 pauses, 361 curse words, and one devoured turkey sandwich? No? Well now you do. We lost our minds and did the Manitou Incline, and promptly proceeded to find religion in the process #JesusTakeTheWheel

There was no winning for us in the age-old game of B-I-N-G-O. Between bouts of dyslexia, number overload, and straight up paralysis, the game beat us into serious submission. But believe it or not, we had a good old fashioned time at good ol' Barry’s Bingo.

Age and Sam popped V’s camping cherry, but not one person had an entirely pleasurable experience. V struggled sleeping with her bad back, Age basically froze to death, and Sam had a full on battle with our neighbors - the mosquitos. In spite of it all, we survived to tell the tale of car camping in Colorado.

Let the trumpets blow and the drums roll… we go to the Renaissance Festival! The highlight was the food but we saw some other stuff too - like a miniature city full of swords and weapons but no metal detectors, wild animals out of their natural habitat, moving statues… Wait, maybe we should’ve been scared out of our minds.
