Episode 6: Unlearn That You Will Find "The One"

From "going around" with BJ in the third grade and almost choking to death on a poisoned apple, to teenage love that was filled with 7-layer burritos, kisses and almost-kidnapping vibes, to discovering that my last partner does not like "expectations" of showing support and being there for his partner, and from every relationship, heartbreak and heart supergluing in between, I have unlearned one major myth about love: that we will find "The One".  Alternatively, my experiences have opened my eyes to something more powerful and more realistic than searching for "The One". Listen to Episode 6 and find out the secret to a healthier, more positive approach to love and relationships. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/unlearnsomething/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/unlearnsomething/support

Episode 05: Unlearn To Live In A World Of Scarcity

My friend "Becky" recently startled me when she refused that I share her inspiring story of how she triumphed and created a breakthrough out of a breakdown. I was perplexed as I couldn't understand why someone would forego a chance to help inspire the world. But then I realized that her reasoning was rooted in fear, and in something much deeper, something that we've learned and reinforced with every breath that we inhale. That is, the belief that we live in a world of scarcity. In this episode, I explain how we entered this world and how we can extinguish this toxic belief. I give practical examples of how we can immigrate from a nation of scarcity to a planet of abundance. It takes only one simple practice. Find out what it is and start unlearning today. Thank you “Becky” for fueling this unlearning lesson. I am grateful for the opportunity that I was given. unlearnsomethingtoday.com --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/unlearnsomething/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/unlearnsomething/support

Episode 04: Unlearn To Be A Passive Patient

My 40th birthday is next week, but instead of following the rules of the healthcare system, insurance companies and my doctors, I did not wait until 40 for my first mammogram. I fought the system and got it years prior. Today, I am waiting to have a breast biopsy, because according to my doctor, my mammogram results showed a "very suspicious abnormality". Now, I want to share my story with you, so you too can take an active role in your health. You too can unlearn to be a passive patient. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/unlearnsomething/message
