Series 2 Ep. 6 Aishling Moloney

Hup Tipp, hup takeaways & hup living each day as it comes. Arguably the most talented lady in Gaelic Football, it was a pleasure to chat to Aisling about more than just the round ball and medals. She recently just won an all-star, as well as other achievements for her sheer natural talent and awareness on the field. However, we chat about her failures and successes in life itself, and how failure is just a concept, and essential for growth. From setbacks in college to triumph in the mundane, this Cahir girl takes nothing for granted and stays true to herself. Passion for football is one thing for Aisling, but passion for family, for career, and for discovering herself and the ways of the world is on her priorities too. Self assurance is key. Keep her country Miss Moloney!  Out Monday 15th March

Series 2 Ep. 5 Roseanna & Saoirse Ruane

How fitting on International Woman’s Day that I get to release this episode with not 1, but 2 amazing ladies, who really show us what strength & bravery entails! I had a chat with Roseanna, an incredible mother and human being, whose daughter Saoirse stole the nation’s heart with her appearance on The Late Late Toy Show in December 2020. Saoirse was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) and underwent a below-knee leg amputation at the tender age of 8, as well as going through the gruelling process of chemotherapy. Today Roseanna & I talk about Saoirse’s journey from the highs to the lowest of lows. I chat to Saoirse also, who was showing off her curly locks that are growing back, and riding her bike again, just as a beautiful child should. This is a humbling story of loss, resilience and hope. I hope you feel enlightened after this episode, and very much count every single one of your blessings. Enjoy life, and always hold on to your inner child! And enjoy this lovely chat.

Having 11 all Ireland titles and 7 all stars, this bubbly lady is moving herself and her family to Oz to tackle a new sport, and she is taking it by the reigns.  We all know her sporting career, but I got to know the lovely and hilarious personality that is Brid during this giggle-filled interview. She practises what she preaches. We discuss teenage years, meeting her now husband in college, the importance of sport for socialising and life long friends, and ofcourse - becoming a mammy!  Far more to this lassie than the jersey
