With the despot out of power, nature quickly came to fill the void. As gangs and tribes now roam the wastelands of Hallamopolis, scavenging for food but only finding Spawn #1, The Spider retreats underground, and, like Leibowitz before him, gathers the memorabilia of a culture left behind. Unhappy Taxes, Mandatory Swear Jars, Free Ice Cream, Uniformity Days - all is well in Hallamopolis run by Lord Champion Hallam until Ollie decided he couldn’t wait for Stevenbomb 2 and punched his way out of the null space prison.    The Utility Belt Crew talk about COMICS in an attempt to bring the Hallam we love and know back! (Or Jack actually bought comics and wants to talk about it.) The Silver Surfer’s board finally has a name and it is the coolest thing. Plus the Gotham TV show and how that’s great, Steven Amell, Stardust and the latest fun stuff on WWE TV and Ollie fills the swear jar talking about cartoons! “Cooking with Kimi” is looking for suggestions on nerdy things to cook because the Portal cake and the Aiya Beef Bowl from Persona 4 weren’t hard enough.     Not to mention, Hallam records himself opens a live Magic the Gathering booster before we obliterate him into the Multiverse. Fun times!

Hallam Rickett aka Captain Champion invited the UB Team to take occupancy in his Cosmic Cabin of Victory. Will our heroes stand the stony glare of the Lance Storm statue?   We get distracted at the digital comics station by the potential hype levels across the titles of the All New All Different Marvel Jack continues to be upset about the treatment of the Fantastic Four both in movie and comic form and when that got too much - a trip to the Dreamscape where Ollie relays his adventures in reading Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman. With San Diego ComicCon happening before this episode aired, the team think about the oddities and boons of such a big con. Kimi gets over-excited about Magic the Gathering in light of the release of the last core set “Magic Origins” while Ollie tries to deal with the loss of The Thrilling Adventure Hour. Plus, spoilers for the end of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders.  It’s an episode chockablock with content! 

Jack didn't take too kindly to the science in his body, so in response - he has created a dimension called the Battleweb that is full of spiders for us to compete in combat to the death. That was the plan anyway. Battle, combat and large scale earth shattering events are the theme of the day with the team coming together to discuss DC's Convergence and Marvel's Secret Wars (2015). Kimi talks about her love of fighting games, how the Mortal Kombat X comic is her favourite at the moment and the EVO 2015 Championship Series is on the horizon next month. Plus the first time a Pop CultHUH? goes spectacularly wrong with Ollie and Kimi left utterly clueless. Thanks Hallam. We talk about Tekken 7’s Josie Rizal and depictions of different cultures in fighting games. Plus, animation talk - reactions on the DC Batman ’66 animated film, what the hell is going on in Steven Universe and (non spoiler) praise for Gravity Falls. Oliver’s adventures in reading the eons old comic that is the Sandman has lead to admissions of - gasp! - lack of comic reading on the part of Jack and Kimi. Hallam then schools the rest of them on the latest Multiversity meta and Robert Kirkman’s Invincible.    Not to mention the return of regular segments Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Segment and Pop cultHUH?, where Kimi attempts to explain the world of Dark Souls.
