Kirby Smart is coming up Tennessee to steal the soul of Butch Jones as Jones' hot seat is scorching. Daniel and Zack talk about what the hell happened against Florida and UMass. Is this the end of Butch Jones at the University of Tennessee? Tennessee takes on Georgia and we give a breakdown of what it will take for the Volunteers to beat Georgia. Daniel and Zack give some coaching candidates with Jones on the hot seat and then go Around the NCAA, with some fantastic GLORIOUS COACHING MOMENTS and shout outs of the week. 

In this week's episode, Daniel and Zack break down hated rival Florida in a huge game for Butch Jones' tenure. Last year the eleven year streak was broken in a wild comeback. The guys break down how Tennessee can start their own streak against the Gators. Is Quinten Dormady ready for a big time road game? How much should Tennessee feed John Kelly? And is Florida actually that bad offensively? Zack talks about feeling confident and Daniel is pessimistic about the Volunteer's chances. They also talk some Ohio State, laugh at Auburn's offensive line, and Zack goes off on Mike Leach and Bryan Harsin keeping him up late. 

It was not a pretty win, but Tennessee came out victorious against a game Georgia Tech on Labor Day Night. Zack reviews the game and goes over the biggest takeaways from Monday's victory. He also goes over some game awards during quick twitch and went over the injury report after the double overtime win. He also looks towards the Indiana State game on Saturday and gives his take. He also goes over the Texas A&M debacle and has an idea for the first week in college football. 

Finally, college football is here!!!! Daniel and Zack go into full prep week with an upset-minded Georgia Tech on the way. The guys talk about the keys to keep Tech's vaunted wishbone attack off the field and find the weak spots on Georgia Tech's defense. On today's episode, Daniel and Zack discuss two Power Five conferences in the Big Ten and the Big XII. The guys discuss if Penn State is for real and if they believe in what James Franklin has going in Happy Valley. Next is the status of Michigan State and Mark Dantonio's job security. Also on the docket is some Texas talk...how come Daniel and Zack aren't 100% sold on Tom Herman? And with Bob Stoops retirement, does Mike Gundy slide into the top spot in the Big XII at Oklahoma State? And some of their favorite players from both conferences are discuessed.

Today is an annual tradition for the podcast. It is NCAA Draft Day! Daniel and Zack draft two teams and can add anybody in college football (think preseason All-American teams) and pick some of their favorite players. These might not even necessarily be the best teams Daniel and Zack could have put together but they did this with guys that they enjoy watching and who they think might break out this year.

We talk about the defense, specifically the job Bob Shoop has done and if we still believe in him. 005 and I then go into each position group with a main question and some two deep talk. We also talk some about Brady Hoke and Charlton Warren. So Trey Smith, pretty good right? We discuss his impact at Tennessee and on the recruiting trail. We also do some quick twitch about the recruiting (with the caveat "Not Trey Smith" because he was basically the answer to every question) on the 2017 recruiting class. We also discuss if we are happy with the recruiting at Tennessee. Is Butch Jones doing a good job?

Daniel and Zack are back this year after a long layoff with a 2016 season review! The guys discuss the new coaching staff and some of the disappointment from the 2016 season. What will change with Larry Scott at offensive coordinator? How much of an improvement is Brady Hoke and Charlton Warren? They also discuss the quarterback "battle" and talk about what missing Joshua Dobbs means for Tennessee. They also discuss Butch Jones' biggest weakness and if there is enough talent at Tennessee currently to win a championship. The guys also go around the NCAA, discussing the Ole Miss/Hugh Freeze debacle and the new coaching changes around the country. In the ACC preview, can Florida State dethrone Clemson? Will Mark Richt take Miami to elite status? Also, they go over the best players in the 2017 ACC season. 

Tennessee played their freaking hearts out tonight, but unfortuantely the turnovers came back to bite Tennessee. A tough performance, a gritty performance, but just not enough. A great comeback came short but Tennessee can still accomplish all the goals. We will take some calls tonight and go through some volnation.com threads and talk about tonight's game.

A miracle. Divine intervention. Deliverance. The Tennessee Volunteers went into Samford Stadium and stepped on Georgia with a DOBBNAIL BOOT. We are gonna give thoughts in what can simply be described as the play of the century for the Tennessee Volunteers. I simply have no words for what transpired tonight. 

The streak is over!!!! Daniel and Zack hop on to talk about the ramifications for the Volunteers victory over the Florida Gators for the first time since 2004. They talk about the passing game, Bob Shoop's defense, and all the great stuff after the game and what it means for the program. We also talk Les Miles and the LSU opening and preview the Georgia game.

It's been an ugly 11 years for the Tennessee Volunteers against the Florida Gators. It feels like a lifetime ago since James Wilhoit gave the Vols their third win in four years over the Gators back in 2004. A lot has changed. Quite simply, it's the biggest game for Butch Jones in his coaching career. Daniel and Zack give a comprehensive breakdown of the game and the keys of it. Can Tennessee overcome some defensive injuries? How will Florida losing Luke Del Rio impact the game? Can Tennessee get out of its own head and win a big game? Quite simply, it's time to break the streak. 

The Tennessee Volunteers played much better Saturday and won in convincing fashion in the largest college football game every played. Darrin Kirkland Jr is out for the Ohio game and questionable going forward. How much trouble is Tennessee in if Kirkland is out for an extended period of time?
