This is a special supplement to Warrior Stick Heritage Timeline on WarriorHockey.com. In this podcast, we take you through the history of Warrior Hockey sticks and stick graphics on them. We discuss the elements of design for the sticks and the graphics and some of the hidden meanings in the graphics themselves. If you're a fan of Warrior Hockey, this is the ultimate insider podcast for you.

The boys are back to discuss the release of the new Covert QRLSE stick and Alpha AK27 stick. They dig into the history of the AK27 and a little bit of Warrior history too. Plus, KP gives you the dirt on the Super Light construction of the AK27 SL stick. They discuss a little bit of the VIP Program and some VIP beef. Finally, there may be a little easter egg hidden in the podcast for a special giveaway!

The second part of our Alpha QX stick development series, KP sits down with Isaac, the Lead Design Engineer for all of our sticks and really digs into the guts of the Alpha QX line. They discuss the development process and the challenges and process of bringing a stick developed for NHL players to the retail market. Isaac offers great insight into how we carry the technology of new sticks throughout the entire line from the high end (QX) all the way through the entry level stick (QX5).

KP talks to our Pro Sticks Manager aka the Stick Doctor about the development of the Alpha QX sticks. The guys discuss how Alpha grew out of a specific need at the NHL level. Jared also offers a ton of insight into how sticks can be manipulated at the NHL level to meet certain asks from Pros. Plus, some stories about guys coming to Warrior because of our stick technology and Pro Service.

We wrap up the 2016-17 NHL Regular Season with our usage totals and scoring numbers. Warrior had a huge jump in total usage this seasons and to find out the process and how that happens, we sit down with our Pro Sales Manager, Dan Mecrones, who takes us inside the process of working with the leagues, teams and players who switch to Warrior and stay with Warrior.

KP sits down with Warrior helmet Engineer James Serle to discuss the development of the Covert PX helmets, the testing methods used and the hockey helmet landscape in general. They also discuss the proper fitting of helmets and importance that plays in protection. (Sorry for the echo, had some tech issues)

We close out the year with talk of our NHL Pros, our Covert Throwback collection, our holiday giveaways and a special interview with our friends, Mike and Brian, from Violent Gentlemen Clothing Company.

KP and DT chat a bit about the concluded World Cup of Hockey but the main part of this episode is an interview with our Pro Sticks Manager - Jared Quartuccio! Jared is the man who handles our NHL player sticks and he takes you through the process of working with Johnny Gaudreau as well as gives you some insight into why curve and flex are just as important for you as they are for NHL players.

The guys interviewed the first player to get his hands not he gloves and put them through the paces, Doug Sears, Jr. Doug has been an equipment reviewer for a long time and was happy to share his thoughts on the QRL gloves.

It was a big day for Warrior as a whole as the all new lacrosse product was revealed so, Keith and DT offer their props to the lax side of the company. This interview is from a few weeks ago. We sat down with retired WarriorPRO, Nick Lidstrom of the Red Wings on the day he was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame. He spoke a little about his career, retirement, former teammates and former coaches.
