do you feel stuck too?

Episode in who are you?
Sometimes as much as you move forward, it feels like you're still stuck in the same place. It's normal to doubt the path you're on, especially when your self-image is not where it should be. Create distance between yourself and the thoughts that don't serve you, and stop comparing yourself to others. No two journeys are ever the same.

the road to creativity

Episode in who are you?
Storytelling and man have been intertwined for so long, and yet so many of us deny ourselves the opportunity to share our stories. This episode, I briefly touch on the trajectory of my creative journey, as well as the lessons I've picked up along the way about negotiating with yourself, the value society places on art, giving yourself permission to be a work in progress, and how journalling helps with creative unblocking.

being bored and alone is healthy

Episode in who are you?
In this highly stimulating and distracting world we live in, boredom is a lost skill. The ability to sit with your own thoughts and be alone is so empowering and that's when your best ideas come to fruition. It's also when you allow yourself to process the past and let go of your future worries, finding fulfilment in the here and now. Clinging onto the past or constantly worrying about the outcome of future events will rob you of that opportunity.

sometimes you have to be selfish and delusional

Episode in who are you?
Being selfish and delusional are often described as negative traits, but I've come to realize that even they have a role to play in following our passions. If you never learn to take from this world and step up for yourself, even when others or your inner critic disagree, you will struggle to find fulfilment. You are allowed to experience everything you want to, and you need to be somewhat delusional to convince yourself of it. Imagination is a prerequisite of reality. If you don't believe in yourself, convince yourself you can do it and you will be surprised at how much you can accomplish.

do any of us really know what we're doing?

Episode in who are you?
I don't know how to describe this episode. It's really just a rant about assessing your intentions when you go after the things you want, how easy it is to get caught up in planning, and how sometimes things just figure themselves out for you if you let them.

no one is coming to find you (and no one cares)

Episode in who are you?
I'm slowly learning why it's important to show up for ourselves every day. In a world where we consume more than we create and when motivation can be so fleeting, we have to learn to fight the distractions and put in the consistent work. Otherwise, we risk getting lost in the noise. I also realised that, in reality, one really cares about what we do, we just hype it up in our own heads. If we live in our truth and go with the flow of the river, greatness awaits.

why don't we do the things we love?

Episode in who are you?
An introductory episode detailing my thoughts on what holds us back from diving into new experiences, projects, and even hobbies that we've always wanted to try. I touch on my personal experiences with finding difficulty starting things, the role of self-image, inner-child healing, taking small steps, why we deserve to tell our stories, and more!
